Bali Dynasty Resort to Host Europe on Screen Film Festival 2016

Bali Dynasty Resort will be the host for the Europe on Screen Film Festival in Bali. Scheduled on 30^th of April and 7^th of May 2016 from 5pm onwards, the events will be an open air film screening at the resorts’ front garden. The first event will show “Accused”, a great Dutch film, while the British film “A Royal Night Out” is reserved for the second event.

The events are free of charge and will be designed as a cultural night with special decorations and the most popular food and drinks that represent the respective countries, it is also an opportunity for social and business networking. It is expected that both events will draw a good crowd from the respective Dutch and British communities as well as the general audience.

The main purpose of this event is to promote the Dutch and British culture, while at the same time it serves as a fundraising night to raise money for SoleMen, a charity programme that Bali Dynasty Resort currently supports.

Dutch or British owned/related businesses are invited to take part in the event by purchasing a stall. Stalls are sold at IDR 500,000 with all of the proceeds going directly to charity. Participants can use the stall to sell food, drinks or other products which are Dutch or British related.

The Europe on Screen (EoS) 2016 will take place from 29 April to 8 May 2016 in a number of cities across Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Denpasar, Medan, Surabaya and Yogyakarta. Previously known as the Europe Film Festival in its first debut in 1990 and the second festival in 1999, the event was a joint effort of the European diplomatic and cultural representations in Indonesia. As of 2003, the European Film Festival in Indonesia has been held annually under the banner “Europe on Screen”.
