On Tuesday 1st November Gracie Kelly’s again offers all of the above ingredients for the annual event that defines Australian horse racing.
For the race that stops a nation, you can expect a sea of colour and excitement filling Gracie Kelly’s to capacity as Melbourne Cup fever gets under way.
As usual there are lots of sweeps so you can have a flutter and all the money raised after the cash prizes are given out will be donated to the  Bali Dynasty Charity Effort; "Helpoing the Poor Children of Bali" through the East Bali Poverty Project.

There’s an incredible Irish Buffet Lunch available as well as Champagne and Strawberries & Cream. We also have prizes for the best Hats.

Bali Garden Party

On Saturday 29th to Sunday  the 30th of October Gracie Kelly's will have a beer tent at the first ever Bali Garden Party at Taman Bhagawan in Tanjung Benoa. There's going to be plenty of entertainment, fashion shows, dog shows, kids entertainment and drinking so make sure you come down and join in the fun, opens daily from 11am - 9pm!

Your feedback on our Guest Comment cards and outlet comment cards now counts more than ever! Many people don't realise that all the comment card data is collected daily and entered into the computer system to enable us to get an overall picture of how we are servicing our guests! What's more that data is used to measure each and every individual employee since they all have "Key Performance Indicators" to achieve each and every month and your rating counts! So please keep on completing the comment cards and letting us know how we can service you better. We enjoy listening to our guest feedback and any ideas for improvements!

H2O Upper Deck

The H2O upper deck is open each day from late afternoon till 10pm for our guest to enjoy a relaxing and refined Sunset experience. Ladies Cocktail Hour (currently from 7pm - 8pm) enables our lady guests to enjoy a cocktail with the second one free. Also between 6pm and 7pm we are serving free tapas to everyone drinking at the Upper Deck.

Each Tuesday and Thursday features our house DJ playing your favourite songs.  The popular "Cook your own Barbecue" at the upper deck is just Rp190,000 Nett (for a minimum of 10 people) and enables friends to get together for a more private party.

Bar Snacks at Gracies!

We now offer a Bar Snack menu for those people wanting a light snack for lunch or in the evening. The menu includes such favourites like barbecued chicken wings, potato wedges, Irish sausages, mini burgers and much more!

Tour of the Month

Visitors to Bali should not miss the Bali Agung show, located at the Bali Theatre at the Bali Safari and Marine Park.
In what can be described as a World Class cabaret show for its grandeur and splendour, the Bali Agung show tells the story of the legend of a Balinese Goddesses from the 12th-century, King Jaya Pangus, who marries a Chinese Princess, Kang Cing Wie.
Although Bali Agung is essentially a visual show, the audience is guided by an English speaking narrator to help visitors better understand the story.
The show features 150 dancers, 40 puppets, and more than 30 animals including ten elephants at one mega stage measuring 80 X 40 meters which evoke the colourful and varied environments of the story.
Local puppet makers worked on tiny birds, Wayang Kulit shadow puppets and giant monsters that are featured in the show.
The Dancers adorn unique headdresses and spectacular costumes and even the larger animals are dressed in colourful livery to further enhance this extraordinary production.
Performances are Fridays, Saturdays ang Sundays starting from 2.30pm onwards.

Every month we hold a staff gathering, where we celebrate our staff birthdays and present an update on new hotel products and services.  Here are our winners for September 2011.  These staff have excelled in their duties and the services offered to our guests.  We also have a Guest Nomination Award and this award is chosen by our guests who fill in the guest feedback forms before they check out.
 

	Congratulations go out first to Gusti Ngurah Setyadi from the Food & Beverage Service Department, as Ngurah is this month's Employee of the Month Front of the House. He joined Bali Dynasty in 2001 and being still single is a familiar face to you all. Congratulations Ngurah!
	Our Employee of the Month Heart of the House is Johan Zulkarnaen or Johan to his friends. Johan joined Bali Dynasty in 1990 and has 2 children living in Denpasar
	Finally our Guest Nomination again is Made Supadma, or Padma to his friends. You will see Made's smiling face when he is cleaning your room every day as he works in our Housekeeping Department. Made is making quite a reputation for himself as someone going the extra mile for the guest making him a firm favourite with our guests. Made joined Bali Dynasty in 1991 and has two children.
