Chinese New Year

Welcome the Lunar New Year on 16–17 February 2026 with a festive dining celebration at Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant, Bali Dynasty Resort. The evening features a specially curated 9-course Chinese New Year set menu, including the much-loved Hong Wan Salmon Yee Sang, priced at IDR 588,000++ per adult (minimum 2 persons). Dinner is served from 6.00 pm.

A key moment of the evening is the traditional Yee Sang tossing ceremony, where guests gather to share wishes of prosperity, happiness, and good fortune for the year ahead. Cultural performances add to the celebratory atmosphere across both nights. On 16 February, enjoy the vibrant Barongsai dance, symbolising luck and positive energy. On 17 February, a live Chinese singer performance creates a warm and joyful dining ambience.

Kids Activity of the Month – Balinese Costume Dress Up

Let your little ones step into Bali’s vibrant culture with our Balinese Costume Dress Up activity. Held every Sunday from 9.00 to 10.00 am, kids can try on colourful traditional outfits, learn simple cultural gestures, and enjoy a fun photo moment. It’s a relaxed and playful way for children to connect with Balinese traditions while having a great time at the resort.

Adult Activity of the Month – Highest Splash Contest

It’s not just for the kids — adults get in on the fun too. Make a splash at our Highest Splash Contest, happening every Tuesday at 2.00 pm. Show off your biggest jump, bring your best energy, and enjoy a bit of light-hearted competition at the pool. Whether you’re diving in or cheering from the sidelines, it’s all about good laughs, holiday vibes, and enjoying your time at the resort.

Celebrating Culinary Excellence on the International Stage

We are delighted to announce that our Head Chef, Wira Adi Putra, has achieved an outstanding result at the Global Chefs Challenge Asia Semi Final, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 22 September 2025.

Competing among 22 talented chefs from across Asia, Chef Wira earned a Silver Medal and secured a place in the Top 10 finalists, representing not only our resort but also Indonesia with pride on an international culinary platform.

The Global Chefs Challenge is recognised as one of the region’s most prestigious culinary competitions, assessing participants on technical skill, creativity, time management, and presentation under intense pressure. Chef Wira’s performance reflected his strong leadership in the kitchen, attention to detail, and passion for delivering refined flavours inspired by quality ingredients.

This achievement marks an important milestone for our culinary team and reinforces our ongoing commitment to excellence across all dining experiences at the resort. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Chef Wira and look forward to sharing his continued culinary creations with our guests.

A Proud Moment for Our Culinary Team

We are pleased to share another achievement from our culinary team at the Culinary Black Box Competition, held on 30 January 2026 at Elizabeth International.

Our team member from Gracie Kelly’s, Ketut Andy Sanjaya, delivered an impressive performance and was awarded 3rd Winner in the competition. The event challenged participants to showcase their creativity and technical skill by preparing a dish using mystery ingredients, with snapper fish assigned as Chef Andy’s main protein.

The competition brought together 20 chefs from 20 hotels across Bali, making it a highly competitive platform that highlighted innovation, adaptability, and precision under time pressure.

Chef Andy’s achievement reflects his strong culinary foundation, creativity, and dedication to excellence in the kitchen. We congratulate him on this well-earned recognition and look forward to his continued growth and contributions to our culinary journey.

Tumpek Uye

Tumpek Uye is a meaningful Balinese Hindu day dedicated to honouring and showing gratitude to animals and all living creatures. Celebrated every 210 days based on the Balinese calendar, this day reflects the island’s deep respect for harmony between humans, nature, and animals. On Tumpek Uye, families offer blessings, food, and prayers for livestock, pets, and wildlife as a way of thanking them for their role in daily life.

Also known as Tumpek Kandang, this special day reminds the community of the importance of compassion, balance, and care for the natural world. Guests visiting Bali during Tumpek Uye may notice offerings placed near animals and a calmer, more reflective atmosphere across the island a beautiful glimpse into Bali’s living traditions and spiritual values.

Thank you to our guests for your continued support of the Bali Children’s Project. Your kindness is helping students like Dimas Irvanda, a Grade 12 vocational high school student who is now just six months away from graduation, stay on track with his education.

Following the passing of his father after a long illness, Dimas’ family has faced significant financial pressure. With his mother as the sole provider, covering daily needs alongside school fees has become increasingly challenging. Without support, Dimas risks missing his final exams and being unable to complete his studies.

Despite these circumstances, Dimas remains focused and determined. Majoring in Institutional Accounting and Finance, he hopes to build a future career as a manager. He continues to support his family while staying committed to school, showing maturity and resilience well beyond his years. By supporting Dimas, you are helping ensure he can complete his final year and graduate in 2026. Your contribution provides not only practical assistance, but also hope, encouragement, and the confidence to move forward. Together, we can help Dimas take the next step towards a brighter future.

The hotel was absolutely amazing and perfect for family with kids. Solo mom with 2 kids below 5 and they loved the pool. There is also a kids club which has activities lined up for the whole day and you can bring your kids for those activities. If your kids are comfortable being on their own, and are aged above 4, you can just sign them in and drop them off - Sasha B

Absolutely loved Bali Dynasty! Perfect resort for my family of 3 kids. The staff and services were exceptional - everyone was very friendly, helpful, the amenities clean and there was so much on offer. From the 3 pools (1 for just adults), the spa (which was amazing and amazing value for money - 3hr massage/scrub/facial for $85 AUD!!), nail salon, hair dresser, multiple delicious restaurants, affordable mini mart and gorgeous gift shop, travel desk and in house money exchanger, plus night markets, foot massages by the pool and beautiful ladies braiding hair. Plus, the resort had professional photographers offering family photo shoots – a perfect way to remember our holiday. The resort is just down the road from Waterbom and Bali Discovery Mall, which has an awesome ‘Timezone’ for kids. Located on the beach too, and surrounded by street vendors for anything you need Bali wise. Will be coming back! - Nay L

We just recently came back from Bali and we stayed at the Bali Dynasty with our children and grandchildren. We had an amazing time.
