On Friday May 24th, Gracie Kelly's, Bali's 1st Original Irish Pub, celebrated its' 11th anniversary. Gracie Kellys 11th Birthday was definitely one to remember with the launch of Kilkenny Irish Beer, which is now served on tap in Gracie Kelly's Irish pub.

Friends and long time supporters of the famous Gracie Kelly's were invited to join this special evening to experience the unique Irish atmosphere and try a glass of Kilkenny beer for themselves.

Gracie Kelly's, located at the Bali Dynasty Resort, has been successful in the last 11 years, maintaining the Irish pub concept with its relaxed dining environment and traditional Irish entertainment. The unique concept and interior adopts the theme of a traditional Irish country cottage pub combined with the traditional Irish Shop pub theme, which recreates the ambience of an old-style general store that can be found in every small Irish town. Gracie Kelly's prides itself on serving wholesome home cooked food, specialities include beef and stout pie, bangers and mash and you cannot leave without testing Gracies Homemade Hot Sticky Toffee Pudding

Until the 31st of July 2013 guests can enjoy one of Golden Lotus’ most popular dishes on the menu, the signature dish Peking Duck. Peking Duck is a famous duck dish from Beijing that has been prepared since the imperial era, and is now considered a national dish of China.

This special dish is served as three separate courses. Firstly the whole crispy Peking Duck is presented and carved by the Chef at your table .The Duck’s crispy skin is rolled in Chinese pancakes and mixed with Black Bean Sauce, Cucumber and Spring Onions. For the next course the Duck’s meat is cooked with Black Bean sauce and mixed with vegetables and then finally the soup is served consisting of the stock made from the duck bones with vegetables added.

During the special promotion period this delicacy is available at only Rp.360,000 net for a whole Duck which feeds up to four people!

The brand new Hair Salon ‘Flair’ has recently opened its doors at the Bali Dynasty Resort.

Flair Hair Salon, located at the lower lobby of the Bali Dynasty Resort, consists of a great team with extensive hair dressing and make up experience.

The salon features three stylist chairs and two wash stations and a full line of hair and beauty products.  They offer cuts, colours, foils, perms, extensions and various other hair treatments, and offer make up and wedding packages.

Flair Hair Salon is open every day from 9am to 9pm.

New facial treatments by Pevonia Botanica

Ashoka Spa has extended her menu with a new skincare line as well as a variety of waxing treatments.

The brand new skincare line consists of a range of new, revolutionary facial treatments using the world's leading face, body and spa care line Pevonia Botanica. The partnership with Pevonia makes Ashoka Spa one of the few spas in Indonesia to use and sell this skincare line.

The treatments and products – all of which are paraben-free – catering for both women and men. The facial range is specifically formulated to repair and nourish the various skin types: dry, combination, oily, sensitive and ageing. We are pleased to advise that the long awaited underpass at Simpang Suir has recently opened relieving the traffic congestion at the renowned traffic black spot. The project has taken just over 13 months to complete and now enables traffic to flow freely at the busy intersection where traffic merges from Nusa Dua and Jimbaran in the South, Kuta, Seminyak and Sanur. 

The Bali Dynasty Resort has recently invested in a more in depth First Aid Training with SOS where 14 first aiders were qualified in level 2 first aid, this further compliments our 23 who have already achieved level one.

In addition to this the resort has recently invested in an AED Machine which is an Automatic External Defibrillator and all management and first aid staff have been trained on its' operation

Automatic refers to the unit's ability to autonomously analyse the patient's condition, and to assist this, the unit has spoken prompts.

When turned on or opened, the AED will instruct the user to connect the electrodes (pads) to the patient. Once the pads are attached, everyone should avoid touching the patient so as to avoid false readings by the unit. The pads allow the AED to examine the electrical output from the heart and determine if the patient is in a shockable rhythm (either ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia). If the device determines that a shock is warranted, it will use the battery to charge its internal capacitor in preparation to deliver the shock.

This machine could save lives and was felt a necessary compliment to our current first aid equipment to do everything we can to ensure the safety of our guests whilst staying with us.
