Tickets Now on Sale for Robert Burns Night taking place on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Bali Dynasty Resort. The evening will begin with pre-dinner drinks following by the traditional fare of Cock a Leekie Soup, Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, Rare Scottish Rib of Beef with trimmings and seasonal vegetables and Hot Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Free-flow beer and wine will accompany the dinner.

And, of course, guests are most welcome to dress as “Scottish as they like!

Tickets for the evening cost Rp. 850,000 net (USD 72) which covers cocktails, dinner and free flow beer and wine. Select Scotch Whiskeys will also be available from a cash bar. A 10% discount is available for advance purchasers of a table of ten.

Australia Day is celebrated on the 26th of January every year. It is the biggest nationwide public holiday, and is celebrated across the country. There are no hard and fast rules on how to celebrate the day but it is great if you feel like participating any way you can, be it taking the day off to relax or partying it up.

From 7.00pm onwards you can be sure that Sunday, 26th January will be a big night out at Gracie’s as we celebrate Australia day. We will be offering special priced beers and wines, serving up good old Aussie Tucker and digging into Aussie meat pies, Bangers and Mash and other Aussie favourites on the Gracie’s menu. Let’s not forget our Australian Day Quiz and great Live Music by our resident band, Gracie’s famous Rais Paddies band who will take to the stage to give you some foot stomping music.

"YEE SANG" is a Chinese salad made up of thinly sliced carrots, shredded yam, pickles, white sesame, chopped peanut, Mandarin orange leaf, spring onion, big onion, sweet potato, Chinese spices, with salmon fish fillet mixed with Golden Lotus special sauce

According to the Chinese belief "Yee Sang" has to be eaten during Chinese New Year, life and business will be prosperous and it warrants good luck!

The Emerald Trophy is awarded to hotels who have received the Gold Medal for 3 consecutive times. As usual the money raised at the event is used to help the poor kids of North Eastern Bali, so your attendance will be assisting the Charity effort the Bali Dynasty supports, namely the East Bali Poverty Project. Our chefs will prepare Indonesian fare and there are plenty of raffle prizes to be won including holidays at the Bali Dynasty Resort. Come along for a great evening of fun, entertainment and food and help support the poor children of Bali!

Indonesia’s national airline, Garuda Indonesia, is inviting you to explore the hidden gems in Indonesia. The French-Italian turbo-prop aircraft were selected by Garuda to serve domestic routes in remote areas of Indonesia and the shorter runway lengths found in these locations.

Siwa Latri

In accordance to the Balinese calendar, Siwa Latri falls on the 29th of January, 2014. Siwaratri will light up the night all over Bali. On this night, cogregations, believers in Siwa, gather together in all temples. They stay awake all night long, recite prayer or old religious stories. The students will celebrate the night of Siwa in their respective school, they gather in the school temple under the supervision of their teacher, recite prayesr, read the holy book, or simply chat with fellow students.

Bali Zoo is home to more than 350 creatures. Situated in the cultural heart of Bali, the zoo is only a ten minute drive from Ubud. On the way to the zoo you can grab a bargain at the Sukawati market, or head into Ubud to visit some exquisite galleries and boutiques.

Come and spend a day to experience the beauty of Bali Zoo surroundings, learn about awesome animals, and hopefully create memories that you will cherish for a long time. The Bali Zoo is a "Nature's Education Centre". Friendly staff are eager to show you around, talk to you about animals, how to make their lives more comfortable, and what you can do if you would like to help. Bali Zoo staff have a "hands on" approach to conservation education, and love to share ideas with you.

Daily program includes feeding of the lions, crocodiles and tigers, and if it's cute and cuddly that you're after - why not head down to petting area and snuggle with a baby monkey?
All of the inhabitants are fully cared for by the resident veterinarian.
