The Bali Dynasty Resort recently held its 22nd anniversary party with all the staff members participating in a series of events. Prior to the party, many activities were designed to boost team spirit during this month such as Beach Soccer, Beach Volleyball, Dynasty Idols, Sack Race, Water Pillow Fighting and many more.

The anniversary celebration came to an end with a staff party held in the Kertagosa Ballroom. This gathering was a time to reward everyone for a job well done and reflect on the success of overcoming the challenges of the 22nd year of the hotels' operations.

We take great pleasure to announce that during our 22nd anniversary party I Nengah Suena, our Front Office Assistant, was chosen as our Employee of the Year 2012 in the  category Front of the House and Ni Ketut Mujiani, our Reservations Clerk in the category of Heart of the House. Congratulations were also extended to I Wayan Sudarsana as the winner of the title Supervisor of the Year 2012.

The Resorts' inner garden area will be the place to be on Easter Sunday, 31 March! Celebrate Easter and have lot's of fun at our Kids Easter Bunny Party!

The party will begin with a grand Easter Egg hunt throughout the hotel garden. Then it will be time for the children to show just how talented they are with an Egg Painting Competition. The winner of the competition will be presented with more great prizes.

Also a special mystery guest will be visiting the kids during the party! Join in and find out who this is!

After the activities the children can join their parents for the delicious Easter Buffet Lunch in Sen5es Restaurant.

On March 12th at the Italian Club in WA we held our 20th ‘Back to Bali Dynasty Party, our biggest Charity Fundraiser of the year!

With resounding support from our travel partners in Perth and Bali including Garuda Indonesia, Air Asia, Asia Escape Holidays, Creative Holidays and New Horizons who consistently support the event, the night was a great success with just over 270 people enjoying a sumptuous Rijsttafel prepared by our own Executive Chef and the kitchen team from the Bali Dynasty Resort.
The annual event has been the major fundraiser for the Bali Dynasty Resort Charity Effort which was established in 2000 in conjunction with the East Bali Poverty Project to give hope to over 60 impoverished Children in North Eastern Bali through education.

Everyone was entertained by a Live Band and as always the highlight of the event was the raffle; with over 140 prizes from Bali's local attractions as well as some airline tickets which were donated courtesy of  Air Asia and Garuda Indonesia.

We would like to thank all of our guests who made the effort to attend and for their generous support to the raffle.

March will be a very busy month for Bali’s Hindu community with several auspicious occasions taking place on the island’s cultural calendar.
Galungan will this year be celebrated on the 27th of March 2013. On this day most Balinese will begin their Galungan 'holiday' the day before, where the family is seen to be busily preparing offerings and cooking for the next day. While the women continue to be kept busy with the preparations of the many offerings to be made at the family temple on the day of Galungan, the men also have another job to do this day, once the cooking is finished. A long bamboo pole, or 'penjor', is made to decorate the entrance to the family compound so that all over Bali the visitor can see these decorative poles creating a very festive atmosphere in the street.
Galungan is celebrated every 6 months based on the Balinese calendar. Galungan is celebrated every 210 days. The celebration of Galungan is a symbol of the glory of the Goodness (Dharma) against the Devil (Adharma).

Every month we hold a staff gathering, where we celebrate our staff birthdays, present an update on whats going on to all our team members as well as recognise those members of staff who have excelled.  In February these staff members have excelled in their duties and the services offered to our guests.  We also have a Guest Nomination Award and this award is chosen by our guests who fill in the guest feedback forms before they check out.

It has been a very enjoyable experience that because of friendly and helpful staff. You are so lucky to have great staff running the Dynasty. We wish had these sort of people involved in our business in Australia.
