Our H2O Theme Nights
 Monday night is ‘Italian Pasta & Pizza’ night and includes the Kid’s Fashion show at 7.30pm! 
On Tuesday we have ‘Dine Around the World’ when you can choose from a variety of dishes from around the globe. Also you can watch some of our talented staff in our ‘Dynasty’s got Talent’ Cabaret show.
Wednesdays are ‘Wild West Wednesdays'. Ribs, Burgers, Buffalo style Chicken Wings and a Sausage Sizzle and for the Kids a great Kid’s Magic Show.
Thursday Night is our famous ‘Satay Night'.  Try our char grilled Chicken, Beef and Pork skewers. A Live DJ tonight too!
Friday Nights we get local and present our ‘Malam Bali Night’  An Authentic Balinese Buffet with a Traditional Balinese Dance performance and your Kids can join the Dance too! A great photo opportunity.
Saturday brings us the ‘Aussie BBQ Night’  Prime cuts of juicy Australian Steaks, BBQ Chicken, Beef Sausages. Ask the DJ to play your favourite song.
On Sunday you can enjoy a traditional ‘Roast Night’   A choice of Roast Beef or Pork, Yorkshire Pudding and Gravy and our Batak Quartet to accompany your meal..

Golden Lotus promotion

MELBOURNE CUP AT GRACIE KELLY'S

On Tuesday 1st November Gracie Kelly’s again offers all of the above ingredients for the annual event that defines Australian horse racing.
For the race that stops a nation, you can expect a sea of colour and excitement filling Gracie Kelly’s to capacity as Melbourne Cup fever gets under way.
As usual there are lots of sweeps so you can have a flutter and all the money raised after the cash prizes are given out will be donated to the othe Bali Dynasty Charity Effort; the East Bali Poverty Project helping the poor children of Bali.
There’s an incredible Irish Buffet Lunch available as well as Champagne and Strawberries & Cream. We also have prizes for the best Hats.

Airport News

Work has already begun on the expansion of the Ngurah Rai Airport and the access roads to the airport have already been changed.

All Passengers are now advised to make sure they allow for extra time (at least 30 minutes, expect traffic queues) to arrive at the airport whilst the construction is going on.

The new terminal will be ready in July 2013 in time for the APEC Summit which will be held in Bali at that time.
 

Bali Events October / November

Lots of events going on during September, October and November in Bali.
From the 14th to the 16th of October is the now famous Annual Kuta Carnival.
One week of music dance and sports activities culminating on the 15th & 16th October with a Food Festival featuring all of Bali’s top restaurants.
On the 16th October you can see a Street Carnival procession showcasing not only Bali’s diverse cultures, but also Bali’s very own Harley Davidson Club, Vintage Car and Motorbike club, Surf Clubs and many many more who join the parade.   join the parade.      The street parade commences at 3pm and the best place to see the carnivalt is at the corner of Melasti street near Kuta beach. Its an event not to be missed if you are lucky enough to be in Bali!

From the 5th to the 9th October is the ‘Ubud Writers and Readers Festival’.  The Festival goes from strength to strength.
The brightest global writers come together to debate the issues that divide and unite us in a celebration of stories and voices.

looking ahead to
Looking ahead to the 3rd to 6th of November, and a treat for tennis fans with the Commonwealth Bank 'Tournament of Champions'  Tennis Tournament which brings together the World's top female tennis players for a week of top flight tennis.
Expect to see the likes of Na Li from China, Ana Ivanovic from Serbia and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova from Russia go through their paces to claim this coveted Tennis Trophy.






As part of his current world tour pop star Jason Miraz performs a one off concert on November 9th which is sure to delight his Bali fans.
The concert will be at Taman Bhagawan in Tanjung Benoa.






The Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC) is once again hosting the Nusa Dua Fiesta mid October to November.
We'll keep you posted on the date as it seems exact dates are not released yet.
The festival will showcase the rich diversity of cultures and tourism products of Nusa Dua and around Bali.
Competitions will be featured before and during the event, such as Bartender Competitions, Golf Tournaments, Beach Clean ups, Fun Runs and much much more.
The Fiesta is renowned for showcasing the different dances and costumes of the different regencies of Bali and Beyond, this year to include dance performances from India and Japan.
A visual treat for any visitor to Bali, this years Festival is promising to be an attraction not to be missed. 


And finally Sanur Village Festival is set to return on the 19th to 23rd November taking place at Segara Ayu Beach and Inna Grand Bali Beach Sanur.
Its a great opportunity for Tourists and Locals alike to see the very best of what Sanur can offer the Visitor.
Sanur will showcase its Cultural side with Dance and Music performances and Visitors will get the chance to sample some of Sanur's best restaurants at stalls all in one area.

Staff activities

During the month of September the Bali Dynasty staff have been very actively involved in Blood Donations and Red Cross First Aid Training.
On the 21st September we conducted a blood donation drive which is held twice a year as part of the resort’s commitment to the community.
Many of our staff also joined the Red Cross First Aid training class, where they were trained on First Aid basics up to 1st grade certificate level.
The staff were trained on subjects from accidents in the workplace to basic life saving techniques.
 

 

Tour of the Month - Bali Adventure Tours

 Bali Adventure Tours is one of the islands first and foremost Tour operators.
They offer a variety of Adventure Tours such as White Water Rafting on the Ayung River, Mountain Cycling from Lake Batur, and Jungle, Village and Rice Paddy Trekking all culminating with Lunch at their world famous Elephant Safari Park in Taro.
Set amidst lush tropical gardens, the Elephant Safari Park is home to endangered Sumatran Elephants where visitors can ride, feed and interact with the Elephants.

The Parks Facilities include a 200 seat Restaurant serving both Local and International cuisine and an Elephant Museum and Gift Shop. Visitors can also see a daily free Elephant Show when the Elephants show how talented they really are and even show off their painting skills!

Our Star Performers

Every month we hold a staff gathering, where we celebrate our staff birthdays and present an update on new hotel products and services.  Here are our winners for August 2011.  These staff have excelled in their duties and the services offered to our guests.  We also have a Guest Nomination Award and this award is chosen by our guests who fill in the guest feedback forms before they check out.



Our Employee of the Month for Front of the House is Sika Antara from the Recreation Department. Sika is a familiar face around the towel hut and involved in all the varioue activties around the pool.
he is probably one of the quietest of the Recreation Team.
Sika has been with us since 2001 and lives with his wife and two children in Denpasar.

Our Employee of the Month Heart of the House is Wayan Budiarsa, or Budi to his friends. Budi works in our accounting department and has quite a reputation for joining in any activity or challenge we give him especially around christmas time!
Budi has been with Bali Dynasty since 1996 and has two children.

Finally our Guest Nomination for  August 2011 is Made Supadma, or Padma to his friends.
You will see Made cleaning your room every day as he works in our Housekeeping Department.
made is making quite a reputation for himself as someone going the extra mile for the guest making him a firm favourite with our guests.
Made joined Bali Dynasty in 1991 and has two children.
