Welcome to the September edition of the Bali Dynasty Newsletter.
We are happy to say that out new facilities and recent renovations are receiving very positive feedback from our guests and in this month's edition of the Newsletter we are happy to announce some new facilities and services for you, many of which are based on the feedback we receive from our Guest Comment cards.
Just one of those suggestions was a 'Teen Club Room'. Well we are happy to say that is now a reality with the Introduction of 'The Den' Teen Room which opened on the 1st September.
As our Indian Restaurant has proved so popular, we have now introduced a selection of Indian dishes to our Room Service MenuAnother suggestion was to provide a Bike Rental, which we have also started this month.
In this month's Newsletter we share with you our Indonesian Independence day trip to East Bali to visit the children we support there and how our department heads spent their day off painting the schools and the upcoming Kuta Carnival. We get up close and personal with some of our top employees and look at some Guest's Comments on their stay with us and of course give you all the latest happenings around the resort.
We hope you enjoy our update and see you soon at the Bali Dynasty Resort.

Green Globe Lite Certification
The Bali Dynasty Resort is very proud to announce that we have just recently achieved the first stage of our Green Globe Lite Certification. For the last few months we have been following the Green Globe Lite program making a positive commitment to reducing the resorts carbon footprint. The main focus areas are the resorts effect on the Environment, including ways to reduce Water and Energy consumption and looking at more effective ways to manage waste disposal. To be able to display and use the Green Globe logo the Bali Dynasty Resort has met the standard requirements of the Green Globe Lite program. Our resort came well above their baseline requirements and above their best practice target which meant our resort is now an official energy conserving resort.
And on September 4th, the Bali Dynasty resort officially recognised the Clean up the World day and joined several other resorts around the South Kuta area in the annual clean up, which involved hotel staff from other hotels joining for a giant neighborhood clean up covering the streets and beach areas.
Just recently the management Team of Bali Dynasty Resort visited the schools of Pengalusan and Cegi to give the two schools there a fresh coat of paint. Changing the old school green to a brighter lighter beige our team of 13 wasted no time in getting down to work and starting at a cold and crisp 8am began the mammoth task. The children were off school that day, but after a few hours, curiosity got the better of them and a few of the schoolchildren began to gather to watch the proceedings and see their school get a new lease of life. Some of them even joined in! As you can see from the pictures, the newly painted schools look great!
Every August 17th, Indonesian Independence day, the Bali Dynasty Staff & Management visit the children of Pengalusan and Cegi to watch their Independance day celebrations. The children are always well turned out in their school uniforms and stage a cabaret for everyone. The day started with the formal protocol of the flag raising ceremony and when the formalities were finished the fun began. First it was a sack race, then a relay race, then a cracker eating competition. It was interesting to see how competitive the children were. After the games all the children received a Lunchbox plus Toothbrush and Toothpaste each from the Bali Dynasty Charity Fund plus Apples, Oranges and Towels donated by the Bali Dynasty Resort. Then the cabaret began and the children amazed us all with their dancing and singing skills. To complete the day sport game awards and scholarships were presented personally to the children by East Bali Poverty Project Founder & Chairman Mr. David Booth. Congratulations to all the winners!

International Standard. Keep up the good service! Dr. A, Malaysia
Please continue the great security you have in place. It makes us feel safe in your hotel. Mr. S, Australia
We loved the location of our room. When we comeback we will definitely request a Family Pool View room again. The kids loved being in a separated area from the parents and loved having their own TV! Mrs. B, Australia
Our wedding was lovely and the rose petals bath was a delightful surprise and the rooms are nice and modern. Thank you! The afternoon games around the pool by the motivators are lots of fun. Mrs. O, UK
Our room was just perfect. The newly renovated rooms are just superb. The new lay out gave you so much more room. We didn't think we could love the Dynasty more than we already did, but the new rooms make it even more pleasurable. The new Bathrooms are also beautiful, they project such style and class, a great improvement to the old ones. Mrs. C, Australia
The pool and staff were always in a superb condition. Your staff have great personalities and our kids grew quite attached to Amy and the rest of the great staff in the Kids club. It was really hard to pick just one staff member as they were all great, especially the pool guys with the funny sayings. It was great to meet the GM Robert at the Management Cocktail party too. Thank you for showing us such a warm welcome. Mr. & Mrs. H, Australia
