The 23rd Back to Bali Dynasty Party 2016

Bali Dynasty Resort recently hosted its 23^rd back to Bali Dynasty Party in Perth, Western Australia; which has become its biggest annual fundraising event each year. Held on the 20^th of February 2016 at the Corporate Lounge, Subi Sport Bar, Subiaco Football Club, this year event was attended by many of the resort’s returnee guests.

The guests were treated with a great Indonesian feast carefully crafted by the resort’s squad of chefs and staff who flew all the way from Bali. Staff attendance was one of the draw cards to the event, as many of them had never flown before or even left Bali and the guests always flocked to meet up with them.

The new charity commitment of Bali Dynasty Resort was revealed to public during that graceful night. Now partnering with Solemen, the new project’s spirit is represented in a tagline “Helping Friends for Life” with aims to bring hope, welfare and health improvement to the lives of several “Sole buddies” who suffer from various disadvantages.

The event also presented raffle draws with a total of 87 prizes to win, including a return flight to Bali sponsored by AirAsia, complimentary stays at the Bali Dynasty Resort, Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel and Amadea Resort & Villas and the soon-to-open Menjangan Dynasty Resort in the north Bali, entry tickets for many of Bali’s top attractions for which we are thankful to our industry partners in Perth and Bali.

A total of XXXXXXX money was collected from the proceeds of the entrance and raffle tickets and charity donations. All the money raised will go to Bali Dynasty Resort’s Charity Account to support the aforementioned charity commitment that will commence early in March 2016.

The Back to Bali Dynasty Party was initially instigated in 1993 by Athol and Jerry Higgins who were the former owners of the Higgins Hyde Park Hotel. As regular guests of the Bali Dynasty Resort, they realised that a reunion could be made in Perth each year since over 65% percent of the hotel’s Australian guests were from Perth and the surrounding area.

For sixteen years the Higgins family (along with son Paul and daughter-in-law Joanne) hosted the Back to Bali Dynasty Party at the Higgins Hyde Park Hotel in Perth. Each year they would accommodate a team of chefs and staff who would prepare a formidable Indonesian buffet for all the guests to enjoy. Following the sale of the Hyde Park Hotel in 2006 the event then moved to another venue with now organised by the Management of Bali Dynasty Resort as its biggest annual fundraiser event.
