The Indonesian government is closely monitoring the activity and will provide advice should there be any new updates. As of the time of this newsletter’s release, Bali Airport and tourism in South Bali are operating as normal. Bali Dynasty Resort Ranks No. 1 on Top 10 Best Family Resorts in Indonesia

Bali Dynasty Resort has been voted No. 1 in the 'Top 10 Best Family Resorts in Indonesia', in the 4-Star Category, in the 2017 Holidays with Kids Readers' Choice Awards. Bali Dynasty Resort has been included in the awards for eight consecutive years and this is the second time that the Resort has topped the list.

Holidays with Kids’ Reader’s Choice Awards is an annual award organised by this popular family holiday magazine highlighting the best accommodation for family travellers in Australia, Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, South Pacific, Fiji, Japan, the USA and Hawaii. The award garnered the nominees based on the votes of the readers in a survey where they had to nominate hotels and resorts that provide excellent facilities and activities for kids with top notch standards of service and hospitality, value for money and most importantly, an impressive stay experience.

This achievement is an appreciation for Bali Dynasty Resort’s commitment to be the premier resort for families and leisure in the heart of the South Kuta Beach area. Each year, the Resort makes more and more improvements to ensure an enhanced experience for all guests while still offering the same great value for money. Recent renovations included the opening of the brand new Family Suites and Deluxe Terrace, and refurbishment of the popular Kids Water Fun Zone, the Kids Club and Teens Club. To date, almost all parts of the resorts have been upgraded making it a perfect destination and a home-away-from-home for travellers from around the world. For more information, please visit

Charity Update

Bali Dynasty Resort keeps the Beach clean

On Saturday, 16 September 2017, Bali Dynasty Resort participated in the International Coastal Cleanup, which is a worldwide environmental initiative to raise awareness about the cleanliness of the beach and sea. On that day, Bali Dynasty Resort’s staff, together with other hotels in the area, flocked to South Kuta Beach collecting trash and debris from the seashore.

The cleanup began at 7.30 am for 90 minutes and was organised by the Bali Hotel Association as an island-wide initiative. The trash records from all around Bali were sent to the Ocean Conservancy Board, which compiles all records from all over the world. These records will be used by Ocean Trash Index to raise awareness, identify hotspots for debris or unusual trash events and inform policy solutions to reduce water/marine pollutions.

The cleaning of South Kuta Beach is not limited to just once a year. Bali Dynasty Resort schedules a monthly general cleaning in the Resort and on the beach as a get-together event for the staff while also ensuring that all guests will enjoy a clean and comfortable beach experience. The South Kuta Beach Business Association also regularly arranges beach cleanups especially during the rainy season when the rubbish problem becomes more inherent.

You can join their bird feeding programmes, take pictures with the macaws, or mingle with the birds that meander through the park. You can also watch the majestic birds of prey from eagles to kites, owls to falcons soar overhead and swoop down at the Basic Instinct Bird Of Prey Show at 11.30 am and 3 pm.

When it comes to lunchtime, the Bali Bird Park restaurant and cafe provide refreshment and delicious meals, where you can also meet the bird stars, including the famous Black Palm Cockatoo, Anna-Maria.

On top of the bird collection, the Bali Bird Park also has a reptile section, where you will get to see the Komodo dragons, the giant monitor lizards that are direct descendants of the dinosaurs that lived nearly 100 million years ago.
