Kupu-Kupu Kids’ Club is for kids from the age of 4 to 12 with a wide range of activities to keep your kids entertained as well as a focus to learn new things at the same time.

The Den Teens’ Club on the second floor caters for children from 10 to 16 years of age and features Internet, Wii, Play station, X-Box, Movie, Pool, Table Tennis, Table Soccer. Kids Water Fun Zone & Kids Playground

A Charity Painting Exhibition at Bali Dynasty Resort

Bali Dynasty Resort, in conjunction with its long commitment to the East Bali Poverty Project (EBPP), is pleased to present a charity painting exhibition from an aspiring artist from the Village of Cegi, I Wayan Lias.

Taking place at the newly-refurbished Café Piazza, the painting exhibition showcases 14 of Lias’ paintings. Bali is his major inspiration and Balinese gates are his focal point. Gates, a symbolic entrance to a new world, are incorporated in almost all of his paintings. This represents the hopes of all unfortunate children in Cegi and Pengalusan for a better life and a better future by means of quality education, empowerment and economic security.

All of the paintings are on sale for charity. 75% of the sales proceeds will go to East Bali Poverty Project to support its operation, educational projects in 6 schools and the bamboo reforestation, while the rest 25% will be used by Lias to purchase new materials so he can continue creating more great art and helping the community.

Previously a student of East Bali Poverty Project, I Wayan Lias has benefited greatly from the support given by Bali Dynasty Resort since 2000 being in the first school in Cegi that was supported by the Bali Dynasty Resort. In 2010, Bali Dynasty Resort granted him full scholarship to enrol to Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha to pursue his dream and education. In 2015, he graduated with a bachelor degree in Fine Arts. Upon graduation, Lias returned to the village, where he became an EBPP teacher, so that he can share the knowledge gained during his study for the betterment of his community, while at the same time keep producing beautiful paintings.

The commitment of Bali Dynasty Resort to East Bali Poverty Project that was established in 2000 has given hope over the years to over a few hundred children who have been and are being educated through an innovative curriculum, which is designed to give long term sustainability to the villages. Through fundraising activities and generous donations from the guests, Bali Dynasty Resort has become one of the largest sponsors of the East Bali Poverty Project and has raised over 3 billion rupiah since 2000.

288 SKBBA Volunteers Clean South Kuta Beach

Saturday morning, 19 September 2015, Bali Dynasty Resort and the other members of South Kuta Beach Business Association again participated in the 30th International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) with a total of 288 volunteers flocking to South Kuta Beach collecting trash and debris on the seashore.

The Cleanup began at 7.30am and lasted for 90 minutes. A total of 328.84 kg rubbish was collected during the event.

The record was submitted to Bali Hotels Association, which was consolidating the information from all its’ members as an island wide initiative in conjunction with the worldwide Ocean Conservancy which then compiles the records from other parts of the world. The compiled record will be used by the “Ocean Trash Index” to raise awareness, identify hotspots for debris or unusual trash events and inform policy solutions to reduce water/marine pollutions.

The cleaning of South Kuta Beach is not limited to just once a year. South Kuta Beach Business Association regularly arranges beach clean ups which during the rainy season become more frequent when the rubbish problem becomes more inherent.

Bali Remains the Cheapest Long-haul Destination for British

For the third year in a row, Bali has retained its position as the long-haul destination with the lowest cost for visitors from the UK.

According to Andrew Brown of Post Office Travel Money, many long-haul destinations are now of lower cost for UK holidaymakers are due to the slides of the local currencies and the strength of sterling in the market.

Bali is closely followed by Cape Town, where the local currency has also fallen. And Tokyo, once considered to be one of the world's most expensive holiday destinations, is rated the third cheapest with prices for holders of sterling falling by half in just two years.

Nusa Dua Fiesta

Nusa Dua Fiesta (NDF) is an annual event held by Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) at Nusa Dua Peninsula. This year, this event will be on 9 until 13 October 2015.

The event conveys a series of show from five categories, namely Music Celebration, Competitions, Cultural Show, Exhibition and Sport. This year Nusa Dua Fiesta is promised to be bigger and better than last year, by giving special highlight on the celebration of music from various genres, such as blues, classic rock, world music, reggae and electronic dance music from DJ Kesha from England.

Bali International Triathlon

Nusa Dua will be the home of the eighth “Triathlon with a Soul”, a race that has won numerous awards, including Best Destination Triathlon. The event comprises a full Olympic triathlon, a half-triathlon and a 5-kilometre fun run.

The event will be on 25 October 2015. The race will begin shortly after sunrise with a swim in the tranquil waters of Jimbaran Bay, followed by a bike sprint to Nusa Dua, and finishing with a road race.
