We’re proud to announce our chefs will compete in the Bali Hotel Association Cooking Competition, showcasing their skills with the theme Flavours of Nusantara. I Gusti Made Nova Sanjaya will present ‘Pepes Ikan Kakap Merah with Nasi Sela’, and Putu Agus Tresnandana will showcase ‘Samsam Panggang Basa Genep’.

Galungan Kuningan

Join us as we celebrate two of Bali's most important cultural events—Galungan and Kuningan. These holidays symbolize the victory of good over evil and honour the spirits of ancestors.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with local culture, learn about Bali's traditions, and participate in lively celebrations.

Galungan

Galungan marks the beginning of a ten-day celebration during which the Balinese believe that the spirits of their ancestors return to earth to be with their families. The island comes alive with beautifully decorated penjor (bamboo poles) along the streets, and festive offerings at temples and homes.

Kuningan

Kuningan marks the end of the Galungan period and is a day of farewell to visiting ancestors. It is a time filled with prayers, offerings, and gratitude. It is believed that on Kuningan, the gods and ancestors return to heaven.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the local culture, learn about Bali's rich traditions, and participate in lively celebrations.

Bali Children’s Project

Support Kadek Yudi for his education

Kadek Yudi, 17, is a 12th grader from Jembrana, and the younger of two brothers. His older brother, a school dropout, works as a labourer, barely earning enough to support himself. Their father also works as a labourer, earning less than the minimum wage, while their mother makes chips for offerings or snacks when there’s demand.

Yudi once dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player to make his parents proud. However, after seeing the pandemic’s impact on Bali’s economy, he now wants to work abroad to help his family escape poverty.

He attends a vocational high school for hospitality, made possible by a sponsorship that has since ended. Without new support, Yudi may have to drop out, even though he’s less than a year away from graduating. His family can’t afford his school fees, and they’ve already borrowed money from relatives and neighbours just to cover living expenses.

Yudi is an active student who enjoys sports like soccer, volleyball, and badminton. He’s also learning Japanese and plays guitar in his free time, a hobby inspired by his brother. Yudi lives in a dorm during the school year but helps his grandfather with field work and gardening when he’s home, sharing a room with his parents and grandfather.

Bali Dynasty Resort wants to give a hand in supporting him to finish his education, and hopefully after his education, we hope that with our assistance, he will be able to pursue his dreams and achieve his desired career after graduation.

Mohiya is dedicated to providing essential food and medical aid to those in need, including the impoverished, elderly, sick, and orphaned individuals. Additionally, they work tirelessly to ensure children across Bali and Indonesia have access to education. Kuta, Bali Beach Clean-Up

Our monthly Beach Clean Up brings all staff members together to clean the hotel, surrounding areas, and the beach. This initiative reflects our commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

During the Beach Clean-Up, each department is tasked with sending a few team members to participate in the event. The General Manager leads and oversees the process, ensuring that the cleaning is thorough and efficient. This initiative not only upholds our high standards of cleanliness but also underscores our commitment to making a positive impact on society and the environment.

By taking part in this regular activity, our team helps create a cleaner, more attractive environment for our guests and the local community, reflecting our strong dedication to sustainability and community engagement.

Dynasty Rewards

As an appreciation for your support in referring people to stay at the Bali Dynasty Resort, we have launched the Referral Programme which will allow you to collect points by referring new guests to stay at the Bali Dynasty Resort.

This programme is part of the Dynasty Rewards programme. You will earn points starting from 100 points for every booking you refer. These points will be added to your Rewards Account once your referee has checked out, which means you have the opportunity to earn points faster even when you are not in the resort but you must make sure that the person you are referring includes your Rewards Membership number when making the reservation!

Great resort for families - We stayed here with a sense of the resort being outdated and expecting something from the 70s. This was anything but that. Whilst our room was maybe 10-15 years since it was updated, it was really comfortable. Had great storage. The bathroom was great, and the bed was amazing. A king size with a really comfortable mattress and pillows. Air Con worked a treat as well the entire time. The only thing is the very slow Internet, but that just made the holiday better with all of us not defaulting to our phones. The report is also so friendly, and they make everyone, including the kids, feel special. Options for food were great, and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. Airport transfer was included by the resort, and it was only a 10-minute drive away. We also couldn't hear any of the airport traffic at all, which was really surprising and a huge plus. This is our first time to Bali, but it won't be our last, and we will variably be staying at Bali Dynasty when we next come – Marc H

A great Resort, in a great location and service. All the staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. Every single staff member smile and says hello. LOTS and activities for the kids and the Kids club is one of the best we have experienced. Easy walking distance to beach, shop and restaurants outside of the Resort, however the Resort has everything you need and you don’t really need to leave. Prices are a bit more expensive than what you could find outside, but that is expected. Rooms are comfortable and tidy; however, they are getting. Little dated, particularly the bathrooms - but overall, highly recommend - Kristie Powell

It will be nice if can get room which has centre garden or pool view. They have renovated for the room after pandemic I think, cause of this time rooms feels better compare when I visited in 2022. It's really clean and safe. Brilliant resort for kids the service in the hotel is great, really friendly staff with poolside service. Loads for the kids to do and last night's meal from the lotus restaurant was well nice – Steven Kane

I stayed in an interconnecting room at The Dynasty with my husband, two kids, mum and MIL. The rooms were nice, not super new but still nice. It was a great resort for the kids. They loved the kids pool area and the big slide the resort had. The kid’s club has been recently refurbished so it was really nice and clean. The staff around the hotel were really lovely too. The hotel breakfast was good, but we ventured out most mornings to try different cafe's around Kuta. The Day Spa amenities were great as well. They also have ladies come around the pool area offering 30-minute foot massages for AUD$12. The location was good. You can walk along the main street for markets, food and bars. Overall, I would recommend this resort if you're staying with kids or friends - Natalie Dagher

We loved our 8-night stay at Dynasty. Travelling with a 1 and 3 years old, we found this resort to be very family/kid friendly. Great location, there's enough in the resort that you don't need to leave, but it's in walking distance to so many shops/restaurants/salons. Staff were all so lovely. Superb duper chilling place where you can be you and enjoy your free moments with peaceful energy around without any annoying noise having swimming pool and poolside bar with kind of waterfall inside pool and kids-friendly environment as well with toffy/chocolate van near pool. Fully loaded with greenery. I am photoholic so get too many different locations inside to get beautiful clicks. Food options were less as I’m fully vegetarian but whatever there was amazing.
