Christmas Events at Bali Dynasty Resort!

We know that it is still 3 months away, but we have been busy to prepare the most special Holiday celebration just for you. Christmas at Bali Dynasty Resort will be filled with exciting entertainment and of course delicious holiday cuisine to make it the perfect venue to celebrate with your loved ones!

Festivities will start with a delicious Christmas Eve dinner buffet served on the 24th with your favourite Christmas songs by the excellent acoustic Trio band.

Christmas day we will be a full day of holiday spirit, kicked off by Christmas day lunch buffet with a visit from Santa Clause to see if you have been naughty or nice with live Christmas Carols to support the local orphanage. Followed by the evenings special Christmas buffet Dinner served at H2O poolside restaurant with live entertainment of your favourite Christmas songs.

For your little ones, kids aged from 7 to 12 years old will be entitled to 50% off, while kids under 6 years and under will get to eat for free from the buffet.

Halloween at Bali Dynasty Resort

International Coastal Clean Up

In collaboration with the Bali Hotels Association, the Bali Dynasty Resort recently joined forces for the International Coastal Clean Up Day 2023. On the 16th of September 2023, the resort's management team, along with more than 30 dedicated staff members, united for an environmental awareness initiative with the goal of tidying up South Kuta Beach.

Commencing at 7.00 am, the crew from Bali Dynasty Resort diligently cleared litter along the Jerman Beach/ resort’s beach. Each bag they filled was meticulously weighed and documented. The specific details of the collected trash were then forwarded to the Ocean Conservancy Board, which compiles data from across the globe. These records will contribute to the Ocean Trash Index, helping to raise awareness, pinpoint areas with excessive debris or uncommon types of trash, and offer recommendations for policy solutions to reduce water and marine pollution.

The cleaning of South Kuta Beach isn't just a one-off event. Bali Dynasty Resort has a regular monthly clean-up schedule within and around the resort premises, including the immediate beach vicinity. This activity is eagerly anticipated by staff members from various departments and serves to promote awareness about waste reduction. Simultaneously, it ensures that all guests can enjoy a clean and comfortable beach experience during their stay at Bali Dynasty Resort.

Bali Dynasty Resort Supports WWF Signing Blue

The two-day training program, which took place in the Nusa Penida Meeting Room at Bali Dynasty Resort on September 4th, marked a significant step forward in the resort's dedication to marine conservation. Attended by all supervisors and department heads at the resort, the training aimed to equip team members with essential knowledge and practical skills for rescuing stranded whales.

This collaboration with WWF Signing Blue demonstrates the resort's commitment to playing a pivotal role in the preservation of the delicate ecosystems that surround Bali's shores especially in Kuta beach area. The training covered a wide range of topics, including fundamental insights into the biology and behavior of whales, as well as hands-on training in rescue techniques, specifically tailored for Kuta Beach. Participants gained valuable insights into the intricacies of marine life conservation and the importance of immediate and effective response when encountering stranded whales.

Charity Update: Bali Children Project

Bali Dynasty Resort is excited to announce its new partnership with the respected team at Bali Children Project.

This month, we will be supporting a child named Putu.

16 years old Putu is in his final year of senior high school in Bangli. He only has one year left until his graduation, so he could earn his high school diploma next year. Putu goes to vocational senior high school of tourism, majoring in hotel accommodation. He interned at the housekeeping department in a resort in his regency earlier this year for six months.

Putu’s hobby is playing futsal, or indoor soccer on a concrete field. Playing sports has been his favorite activity ever since he was a child. That is why he also has futsal club as his extra-curricular activity. Putu’s favorite subject to learn is Bahasa Indonesia.

Putu has a younger sister in primary school.

Putu almost dropped out of school after completing his junior high school since his family is impoverished. They could not, and still cannot, afford his senior high school expenses. Both of his parents are school dropouts. While they wish for Putu to be able to graduate from school and land a good job, they do not have the means to support his dream.

Putu also fervently wishes to be able to graduate from his senior high school. Fortunately, Putu was sponsored for a while, so he could go this far in school, making him as the most educated family member in the family. Unfortunately, his sponsor had to stop and Putu cannot continue his school on his own.

Putu’s drive to go to school is high. He even works as a laborer, accompanying his parents, to earn extra money, so he could afford his meals at school or help his parents afford their living expenses. As a laborer, Putu could only earn around $5 per day, and he does not get to work every day, depending on the demand. Putu aspires to be so successful so he could help his family break free from the cycle of poverty, which has been in his family for generations. However, without a sponsorship, Putu cannot pursue his dream. It will be a shame if Putu has to drop out of school, while he only has one year left.

We had an absolutely amazing 5 night stay at Dynasty with our family of five (8,5,3). We booked a kids suite so kids had a bunk bed to sleep in and our bedroom was separated by a sliding door. Kids room had play station as well. The kids enjoyed the activities at kids club and loved playing in the kids pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to kids club myself & hubby got to enjoy at the spa and happy hour by the pool. Such great vibe by the pool with music and activities for adults. Ultimate family place. Location way better than Nusa Dua… we had a nanny which allowed us to shop and go to the nice restaurants in the region. We loved this resort for our family holiday! Clean poolside facilities, friendly and helpful staff, fun activities, good variety of food choices. The refurbished Kids Club space was great, although the older age group didn’t really follow the timetables activities. They did, however, get outside for all the outdoor/ pool activities, and the staff were great. The 9yo enjoyed kids club, and both enjoyed the pool and the plentiful number of sun lounges. We also really appreciated the location, the poolside music, the spa treatments, and all the offers the resort had. We travelled with a single friend who made good use of the ‘adults only’ areas. We stayed at The Dynasty after seeing how much was to offer in the hotel and how much it catered for kids. The activities were on all the time, themed buffet dinners, every service you want right in the hotel. I hardly saw my teen son because he was off making friends with all the staff.
