The new concept Kids Club is now equipped with upgraded modern facilities and activities to cater to kids of all ages. The new design is themed around the concept of KupuKupu which means butterfly in Bahasa Indonesian. The new design is spacious and colourful and is the perfect place for your little ones to have a fun-filled day under the safe supervision of the kids club staff, so that parents can relax and unwind knowing their little ones are in good hands. Parents will be happy to know that the facility will still remain free for guests to use with no additional cost.

The Kids Club will be split into different age categories with the younger kids on the ground floor where games, education, and cultural activities will be the theme. While the upstairs will be for older kids with board games, movies, video games, billiards, foosball and a cool place to chill teenager-style away from the parents! To keep the kids engaged and entertained the team at Bali Dynasty Resort has carefully created a schedule that changes daily with many educational and cultural activities, which allow children to learn while having fun at the same time. ‘KupuKupu’ Kids Club is also offering exciting outdoor activities including Water Pillow Fight, High-Splash Contest, Watermelon Eating Contest, and many more! The Kids club is located in the Kid’s area of the resort which also includes the Kids Water Fun Zone with its 54m giant caterpillar waterslide, and mini waterpark where the kids are sure to have hours of fun. Pagerwesi

Are you ready to learn about one of the most important ceremonies in Bali? Let's dive into Pagerwesi, a traditional Balinese celebration held every 210 days. The name itself is derived from two local words: pager, meaning 'fence', and wesi, meaning 'iron'. Together, they create 'iron fence', representing the Balinese people's strengthening of their minds and souls against negative energies.

This festival is celebrated in honour of Siva, the third deity in Hindu religion, who is believed to protect the universe. The celebration takes place just three days after Saraswati, which celebrates knowledge and divine inspiration. During Pagerwesi, locals pray for protection of this knowledge and inspiration against evil forces.

One of the most significant activities during this festival is the fortification of homes and businesses to keep away dark spirits. Families and villages also make offerings to be protected from evil. Additionally, locals visit cemeteries to honour those who have not been cremated.

Temple celebrations are also a hallmark of Pagerwesi, where visitors can see tall bamboo poles called 'penjors' raising offerings. It's a beautiful sight and similar to the Galungan ceremony. Remember to dress appropriately when visiting the temples, with a sarong to your ankles and covered shoulders and midriffs.

Tour of The Month - A Great Day Out with Mason Adventures
