St. Patrick’s Day at Gracie Kelly’s

The St. Patrick’s Day celebration is just around the corner, and this year promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet. On March 17, 2023, Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub will host a celebration that coincides with their 4th Anniversary in their newly relocated and improved street-front venue. If you are looking for a fun-filled day with great food, drinks, and entertainment, then you won't want to miss this highly anticipated St. Patrick’s Day event in town.

The festivities will kick off with an Irish Band performing live music all throughout the day. In addition to this, Gracie Kelly’s leprechauns will be making a special appearance and joining in on the fun.

After a hugely successful debut in 2022, Ubud Open Studios is set to make a much-anticipated return this year with an additional day added to its uniquely crafted experience. The event provides exclusive access to Bali's renowned creative industries, showcasing the wealth of the town's creative industry by allowing the public to enter the studios of renowned artists, designers, and craftspeople.

What sets Ubud Open Studios apart is that the masters and maestros themselves will be present over the three days, giving participants the rare opportunity to meet with the minds of acclaimed creators, learn about their approaches, processes, and ways of thinking. Workshops and private learning experiences are also available at selected venues.

Omed Omedan

Omed-omedan, also known as the kissing ritual, is a unique celebration that takes place in Sesetan Village, Denpasar. It is held on the day following Nyepi, the silent day, to welcome the Saka new year.

During this celebration, unmarried men and women between the ages of 17 and 30 gather on the main street of Sesetan. Divided into two groups by gender, they face each other and await a signal.

Once given, both groups approach the center of the street where male participants will pull and kiss the female participants, sometimes forcefully, while villagers in the audience pour buckets of water over them. The celebration is said to be a tribute to fertility.

The Dynasty is the best resort I have ever stayed in. I cannot fault anything about the place! There’s stuff for everyone to do and everywhere you go you feel like you’re at home. There is nothing to fault at all. The staff are exceptional, the food is amazing, and the place is spotless. Every staff member is extremely helpful and polite and they will do anything to make sure that you’re stay is amazing. I have been to other resorts but nothing will ever compare. We have had the absolute best stay at Bali Dynasty. This was mine and our children’s first trip to Bali (my husbands 6th time) and we have loved our experience at this resort. All of the staff are so friendly, accomodating, helpful. We cannot say enough good things. We haven’t quite checked out yet and we’ve already booked for next year to come back. This resort has everything you need, you really don’t need to leave. The buffet breakfast was yum every morning, our girls loved the kids club and the kids waterpark and pool. we had room service and we ate at the h2o restaurant a few times and the food was always delicious. The on site spa was next level amazing, and the pool side massages!! None of the workers ever appear unhappy, always smiling, doing anything they can to make your stay better. they’re obviously really well cared for by management which is always nice to see. We couldn’t love this hotel more and completely recommend for families. Our girls (4 and 6) loved the ‘dance pool party’ music of the afternoon/evening and made so many little friends at the pool everyday! Jetstar cancelled our flight to Sydney so put us up in dynasty hotel for the night. The staff were incredible, friendly and went out of their way to accomodate us during the ordeal. Very suitable for family holiday. Lots of activities for kids, the swimming pool also hv a mini Waterpark. The breakfast also good, always served the fresh one.
