Chinese New Year Special at Golden Lotus

The restaurant will be offering a 9-course set menu featuring Chinese New Year-themed dishes, including the HONG WAN SALMON YEE SANG, a crispy salad traditionally tossed and shared during this auspicious holiday season as a symbol of prosperity.

Governor Opens New Eco-Tourism Initiative In Bali’s Highland Forests
Bali's Governor, Wayan Koster, has officially opened a new eco-tourism initiative in Kintamani, Bangli Regency. The Glagalinggah Pine Forest in Bali's highlands, sitting 1,200m above sea level, will be a destination for tourists to learn about environmental preservation and local wisdom. The initiative is a result of collaboration between stakeholders in the Glagalinggah Pine Forest Tourism Area, including the Forestry and Environmental Ministries, PT TirtaInvestama, AQUA Mambal, and community leaders. It has been sponsored as part of the Rainwater Friendly Village Program and Nature Tourism programs from the corporate social responsibility departments of PT TirtaInvestama and AQUA Mambal. The tourism program includes walks through the forest and educational exchange areas based on the six principles of Sad Kerthi in Balinese Hinduism. Visitors can follow trekking routes through the forest or attend talks and events at the amphitheater. The conservation teams have also enriched the landscape by planting more native fauna traditionally used in Balinese medicine and cultural ceremonies. The Glagalinggah Pine Forest was previously relatively unknown and visited infrequently, mostly by locals or photographers and their clients using it as a backdrop. The new eco-tourism program hopes to change that and attract more visitors while also supporting the local community and preserving the forest's ecosystem.

Batik Air Daily Connections Bangkok – Bali
Exciting news from Bangkok, the Indonesian air carrier Batik Air will commence service between Bangkok and Denpasar on 20 January 2023.
The new services will operate from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport (BKK) to Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.
The head of corporate communications for Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, said the service to Don Mueang Airport would provide easy onward connections to Thai domestic destinations using Thai Lion Air (SL).
The new service will fly seven times weekly on Boeing 737-800NG configured to carry 12 business and 156 economy passengers.
The new daily Batik Air Service will operate with flight ID-7637 departing Denpasar at 2:00 pm and arriving in Thailand at 5:15 pm local time.
The return flight ID-7636 departs Bangkok at 1:50 pm, landing in Bali at 7:00 pm.
Batik Air is a full-service air carrier serving inflight meals and entertainment-on-demand that can be accessed using a handphone or tablet using the Tripper© application

NEYO in Bali
 Ne-Yo was just a young man with a dream when he released his debut album "In My Own Words" in 2005. But little did he know that it would propel him to superstardom, thanks to hits like "So Sick" and "Sexy Love". The album was a huge success, and Ne-Yo quickly became one of the biggest names in R&B.
Over the next decade, Ne-Yo continued to churn out hit after hit, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the music industry. He had a smash hit with Rihanna on "Hate That I Love You", and his single "Miss Independent" became an anthem for strong, independent women everywhere. In 2011, he teamed up with Pitbull and Afrojack for the massive hit "Give Me Everything", which topped charts around the world.
Despite his success, Ne-Yo has faced criticism for his support of R. Kelly, who has been accused of sexual assault and abuse. Ne-Yo has stated that he tries to separate the art from the artist, but many fans have called for him to take a stronger stance against Kelly's actions.
Despite the controversy, Ne-Yo remains a beloved artist, and fans are excited to see him perform at The Biggest Oldschool Nostalgia event in Bali on January 18, 2023. Cultural Events
Galungan
Galungan is one of the most important festivals in Bali, celebrated to honour the creator and ancestral spirits. According to Balinese Hinduism, the creator of the universe is Ida Sang Hyang Widi. It is believed that during these celebrations, the spirits of the ancestors return to earth, marking the start of a number of Balinese festivals. The festival typically lasts for about 10 days,including the ceremony Kuninganand is celebrated throughout Bali.
At the heart of the festival is the celebration of good and the triumph of evil, the victory of Dharma and the defeat of Adharma. During Galungan, locals are expected to demonstrate kindness by making offerings and chanting prayers. Visitors to Bali during this time will notice tall bamboo poles called "Penjor" lining the streets and roads. These poles are adorned with colourful decorations and used to hang offerings as a gesture of kindness towards the spirits. The offerings consist of special foods, fragrant flowers, and woven palm offerings that are presented at both homes and local temples (called "pura"). Women carry their offerings on their heads, while men carry palm leaves to the temple.
A few days before and after the main celebrations are given specific names, depending on the activities carried out in honour of the festival. The dates vary each year based on the Balinese calendar. At the end of the celebrations, the ancestral spirits return to their home and this is marked by offerings of yellow rice to mark the end of Galungan. This year, Galungan will be celebrated over three days, with the peak of the ceremony on January 4th at all temples across the island.

 Perfect for active Kids. The Dynasty knows how to run a hotel for families, there is great entertainment, large pool for big kids and a pool complete with a slide the kids never seemed to get enough of it. The staff are warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The kids never wanted to leave the hotel and as far as they were concerned this was Bali. We didn’t know what to expect but we’re impressed with the quality of staff and like-minded families having a great time. Dining within the Hotel was not expensive and the value for money throughout the hotel was better than expected. The best people with beautiful culture! Luke G
Great staff, delicvious food and excellent facilities. Reasonably priced compared to other Bali resorts. Family rooms are nice and spacious with Dual TV's and an optional separating wall for some privacy. Staff were very friendly, helpful and fun. Master bed was massive! Great hotel, expecially for kids. We had a great time during two weeks, kita had a lot of fun at the pool with the kids club and we enjoyed our time at the pool bar. Home away from home. Bali Dynasty Resort is without a doubt “home away from home” the best family friendly resort, you never have to leave the resort as their is so much to do, from water activities, kids club, slides, water park and much much more!! While adults relax, kids are forever entertained, I can say that from experience as my children never wanted to leave the resort. Anyone who visits the resort become family! The management and stuff are AMAZING.

Amazing accomodation. This resort is amazing for families, lots of activities, nice and clean, friendly staff and great food and drinks, we stayed 7 nights and did not want to leave, is not as big as some of the other resorts but we liked that as we were able to meet new people and the kids could make friends, nice and close to everything especially Waterbom.
