Golden Lotus Quarterly Promotion

Golden Lotus the Chinese the award-winning Restaurant at the Bali Dynasty Resort is now inviting diners to experience its new can’t miss quarterly promotion - Szechuan Pork Ribs. These specialty pork spare ribs are marinated overnight in our secret Szechuan sauce. To keep these ribs lovely and tender the ribs are first slowly cooked in a Chinese steamer and then lightly fried in a pan to loosen the meat from the bone. Solemen 10th Anniversary

In conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of Solemen and with our commitment forward to help people in need, Bali Dynasty Resort was honoured to support and participate in the first ever “ Monster Walk” in cooperation with Solemen Indonesia and Right Reasons last Saturday, 22nd October 2022. To kick off this great event at Gracie Kelly’s. As the resort and Solemen’s biggest fundraising event this year, the event was attended more than 100 participants, who raised money and awareness to walk from Bali Dynasty Resort to Finns Beach Club. This even was made possible by the support of participants and sponsors.

The event was officially opened by Robert Epstone, the Founder of Solemen Indonesia, and hosted by DJ Denton, the Founder of Right Reasons Funding. A Live Band was performing throughout the afternoon where numbers of signature dishes prepared by Gracie Kelly’s kitchen team were served during the event.  Participants began to walk from Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub where two iconic leprechauns lead the walk to the finish line. All participants were dressing up in a Halloween vibe dressed by Frankenstein. All proceeds will be directed to the honorable foundation Solemen Indonesia Foundation. Thank you for everyone who had been able to sponsor and participate such an effort!

Bali to Host G20 Presidency Summit 2022!

Did you know that Bali will be hosting the he 17th annual G20 Heads of State and Government Summit? This event will take place with the official dates on the  15th and 16th  of November 2022 in Bali. The Summit will be the pinnacle of the G20 process and intense work carried out within the Ministerial Meetings, Working Groups, and Engagement Groups throughout the year. 

Taking place in Nusa Dua, Bali, this prestigious event will be attended by 19 countries and one economic region, namely the European Union. These 19 countries consist of South Africa, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia, France, China, and Turkey.

With the theme of "Recover Together, Recover Stronger", at the G20 Summit, Indonesia invites the world to work together in recovering ourselves from the pandemic and build the world in a sustainable way. Bali Community Choir Event

Firstly founded in 2008, The Bali Community Choir (BCC) has emerged from the forced isolation of COVID-19, sounding better and stronger than ever. Now, the BCC has recommenced face-to-face public encounters (masks required).

Bali Community Choir most recently performed at the Australian Consulate in Renon, Denpasar, at a commemoration ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Bali Bombings.

Tired of singing alone, at home, in their respective showers, old BCC members have rejoined the choir, and many talented newcomers have also joined the singers.

The 2022 Annual Bali Community Concert will take place on Tuesday, 26 November 2022, at 7::00 pm in the Auditorium of SMK Negeri 3 on Jalan Tirta Nadi 2 in Sanur.

The Bali Community Choir is led by Brendan O’Donnell, an Australian who has retired in Bali and is a former director with the internationally renowned nationwide vocal group Sing Australia.

Tickets are available at the door, with ample seating assured for all where admission for adults Rp. 50,000 nett/ person. Children are admitted without charge. Tumpek Landep

Tumpek Landep is a Balinese festival that is held to celebrate divine inspiration as a way to honour the god of taksu.

The name of the festival is derived from two words: tumpek and landep. Tumpek translates to ‘nearby’ in the local dialect, while the latter means ‘sharp’. This manifests itself in the festival where offerings are made for objects that are made of metal.

Tumpek Landep was originally a ceremony to pay homage to items of ancestral heritage such as daggers and spears. However, over time the meaning of this ceremony has somewhat changed and locals bless all items made of metal including cars, motorcycles, computers and even refrigerators.

One of the fundamental rituals carried out during Tumpek Landep is the act of cleansing to ensure that devotees are pure to partake of the celebrations. This cleansing is carried out in honour of different ancestral spirits and is also a way to pay homage to the departed.

The celebrations are marked at various temples across the island. Families with dedicated shrines at their homes can also make offerings there. This is done to invoke prosperity and goodwill from the god Shiva Pasupati. Local artists engage in this festival as a way to ask for inspiration that will make their art relevant to society.

At the core of Tumpek Landep is the recognition of the role inspiration plays as pertains to divinity. Visitors in Bali will be awed by the various ceremonial acts that the locals observe as a way to commemorate this festival. Ceremonies are conducted at temples and villages around the Island

We travelled as family with 2 kids - original planned to stay there for 5 N 6D, but due to some emergency flight reschedule, we stayed one more night. Our first 5 nights were in kids suite room and additional night was family garden view. Both the rooms were in good conditions.
Absolute pleasure experience staying at Bali Dynasty with family. Kids enjoyed the pool and water slide. Breakfast was too good and being vegetarian, we were initially skeptical, but it was too good - sumptuous and delicious. It has something for every taste.
There was a minor, completely ignorable glitch with our kids suite room, for which we got to interact with Mr Agee from hotel management team. Not only did he got it rectified immediately but made sure we do not miss any of the best experience we were having with the resort.
Mr Agee also helped us in getting the additional night stay at discounted price, which happened because of emergency flight reschedule. Couldn't thank him enough for the courtesy and hospitality he extended.
And it is not just him, the entire staff of Bali dynasty, from house keeping, bell boys, restaurants staffs, all deserves the kudos for being the flag bearer of good hospitality and standing up for great guest experience.

Our first time to Bali as a family of 4 and we had a great time at Bali Dynasty. Our kids aged 8 and 4 LOVED it!
Kids club was good for us as we had young kids and wanted to do some shopping out on the busy streets but didnt want to take the kids out, the kids club was handy and the staff were great!
Rooms - i liked the room, we got a deluxe family room on the ground floor its was enough for our family and the kids were able to go straight out to the fish pond and explore. But as everyone says, they are not modern rooms, little old but absolutely fine as we didnt spend much time in them anyway.  The pool 10/10, we loved the pool. Spent most of our time there.
Restaurants 10/10 all the food seems to be the same but still tasty.
All in all. Bali Dynasty is definitely a place to go! We will definitely be back! Rebekah G

We had a brilliant stay at Dynasty over the weekend, there is so many awesome activities to keep you and the kids entertained and lots of food options.
We loved our family room that had lots of space for 4 people in our party.
The best part is the happy hours at the swim up bar. TW 88

Third stay here and it was great as usual. Kids had a fab time in the water park and water slide. Upgraded to a Family Suite and loved the extra space with kitchenette and fridge freezer. Restaurants are good and reasonably priced. Would stay again. Shelton151
