The month of August, Bali Dynasty Resort has been able to provide a wheelchair to support solebuddies’ mobility especially when they are in treatments and some bean bags to be displayed at Solemen Recovery Care and Centre for solebuddies who are currently staying at the centre.

These charity projects are successfully delivered to Solemen Indonesia because of our loyal guest participation through our charity account that has been collected from the program $2 per night and Quiz Night every Tuesday and Thursday at 07.30 PM at Gracie Kelly’s.

Providing Bedding and Mattress

Emi is 18 years old girl and she is at the moment fighting from cerebral palsy, epilepsy and malnutrition. She is living with her Mom and her sibling in the house which is provided by her family. Her father is working as a handyman, while her mom is a housewife mother and at the same time she is responsible to take care of her kids. Emi is looking for a donation to support her in providing mattress set (including bolster, pillow, and bedding sheets), seeing they don’t have any proper mattress at home, where Solemen Indonesia has found out they were all sleeping on the floor.

School Fee for Angga Uniform

Angga is 13 years old boy living in Bali. Solemen Indonesia has met him when we were helping his sister who was suffering from burn condition. Angga needs a donation to help him going back to school again. He hasn’t been able to go to school because his family doesn’t have enough fund to pay the tuition fee. Angga is looking for any donation to pay registration fee, school fee and uniform with the total amount is IDR 5.000.000.

Bali News - Bali Voted Happiest Tourist Destination In The World

Bali has been named the happiest tourist destination in the world. In a survey conducted by the French hotel operator Club Med, Bali came top as the best place in the world for a happy holiday. The news has been gratefully received by Indonesia’s Minister for Tourism and Creative Industries Sandiaga Uno.

Minister Uno, speaking at a press conference this week, shared that he too always has a happy time when he is in Bali. The survey ranked top tourism destinations on many factors. This included crime rate, level of security and overall safety, pollution levels, and the cost of food and drinks. Bali came out tops largely due to the low crime rate, friendly and hospitable local people, and the affordability of accommodation, food, and drinks.

Participants in the survey also noted how the health and wellness industry in Bali was a big draw for them, and that access to wellness experiences also made traveling in Bali an overall more happy experience. Of course, participants also expressed their delight at Bali’s natural wonders and unique culture. The culinary heritage of Bali was another big plus point for making Bali the happiest tourist destination in the world.

Minister Uno told the press during his panel at Kura-Kura in Serangan on Thursday afternoon, that this news makes sense to him, how Bali and happiness are synonymous for him. He said ‘Bali makes me very happy. I just landed and it’s only been three hours and I feel so happy. So, if you want to heal, fix your feelings, and refresh yourself that doesn’t make you dizzy, just come to Bali’.

He echoed the survey’s sentiments that Bali is safe and comfortable and that he hoped that this would continue for tourists in the future. He explained ‘We make sure that issues that disturb the positive narrative and reputation of Bali, we will immediately address. My team and I continue to monitor every issue that comes out and relates to Bali. That is what makes us work even harder because Bali remains the choice for tourism. that makes us happy’.

Bali is no stranger to featuring highly on lists of the best tourist destinations in the world. In July Ubud was voted the best city in Asia by Travel + Leisure magazine. The 2022 winners also listed the top five best hotel resorts in Indonesia, four of which are in Bali. Much like the Club Med survey, the Travel + Leisure winning destinations were ranked on their sights and landmarks, their cultural offerings, cuisine, openness, and friendliness, as well as shopping opportunities and overall value for money.

In early July Forbes magazine released their winners of the best travel destinations in the world. Ubud once again topped the charts and was ranked as one of the best destinations for solo travelers in 2022.

The cultural capital of Bali was hailed as being a safe and fun destination for solo travelers, especially female travelers. The large and growing community of digital nomads, long-term expats, and families who move to Bali for international schools were all cited as reasons why Ubud was great for meeting new people.

Regularly featuring on best destination lists does wonders for Bali’s public image. It is hoped that positive press, big international events, increased tourism, and efforts to diversify tourism experiences in Bali will ensure that the Island of the Gods remains one of the world’s leading tourism destination for many more years to come.

Bali Events

Bali Hosts World Tourism Day on 27 Sept

Quoted by Kompas.com, the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, said: “For the 42nd edition of World Tourism Day, Indonesia has received the honor of being named host with the headquarters for the global celebration to be Bali on 27 September 2022.

The tourism minister announced during his weekly online press briefing on Monday, 08 August 2022.

Sandiaga reminded everyone how World Tourism Day for 2022 has adopted the theme of “rethinking tourism” that encourages the re-surveying of what constitutes quality and sustainable tourism. Meanwhile, the Tourism Ministry’s acting deputy for resources and tourism institutions, Frans Teguh, commented that the theme of “rethinking tourism” needs to be embraced across Indonesia. Adding: “As hosts (for World Tourism Day), we need to agree with other nations that we (all) want to encourage tourism enterprises to develop a tourism model that is people-oriented, quality-oriented, and sustainable.”

Bali’s role as the host for the global celebration also entails the hosting of related events. These events will include panel discussions led by Bali tourism practitioners on “Rethinking Tourism as a Key Element on Recovery” and “The Tourism We Want.”

In the run-up to World Tourism Day on 27 September, the Ministry of Tourism says seminars, competitions, community projects, and clean-up campaigns will be held nationwide.

Guest Feedback

Leanne B AUS - We had a very late check-in and the staff were amazing, the room was awesome and there was even a special little folding drawing table, crayons and a colouring book for the kids which was so sweet. Beds were super comfy and the room was really clean and relaxing, the balcony was great overlooking the front driveway great for people watching and had little squirrels in the tree in the morning which the kids were super excited about and little bats at night. The pool and slides were great and the kids were on them until they closed daily, staff at the pool and breakfast were so accommodating and friendly. Recommend a good family stay, location was good and if you needed to go north the taxis were readily available and cheap.

Diviana K AUS - my family and i stayed here when i was young. this is the best resort i've ever been. i love the room, the pool, and the steak. there is also kids club. the location is very strategic, in the hearts of kuta, we can even go to waterboom and mall on foot

Linda2990 AUS - My family and I stayed here (children aged 4 and 1) for 6 nights. The staff were absolutely amazing the service they provided us was beyond anything we expected my two children used the kids club service and they enjoyed every minute of it, they always had different activities for the children aged 4 years all the way up to the adults. There facilities were always kept clean and stocked. The restaurants food was amazing my two children enjoyed their meals which is not easy to manage especially when being a whole other country. Will definitely be staying again for our next Bali holiday.

Aussietraveller1963 AUS - We have stayed here more than 20 times. We would not stay anywhere else. Our second home. Same staff as pre-Covid and same level of service and hospitality. Great places to eat within the hotel - no need to search for great food.

Bemby Narendra ROMANIA - we enjoyed our stay here because our daughter had a ton of stuff to do here. Pools for kids with sliders, indoor and outdoor playground. The beach also right in the front of the hotel. The beach is not very crowded with seller or people so we felt like we owned the place.
