Following the increase in the rate of arrivals at our resort, our team is on an extraordinary mission to restart its activities and resort’s programs to enhance our guest experience and satisfaction while staying with us. Starting this July, we have marked the official re-launch of popular Themed Night Buffet Dinner at H2O Restaurant. We are inviting guests to enjoy three different theme buffet dinners every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 

Monday: Italian Night, priced at IDR 240.000 ++/ pax

Wednesday: Wild West Wednesday, priced at IDR 240.000 ++/ pax

Friday: Malam Bali, priced at IDR 235.000 ++/ pax

Kids eat FREE! Did you know!? A child aged 12 and under eats free from the buffet when accompanied by a full paying adult. As these nights have proven very popular we suggest reservation are madeto avoid disappointment.

By mid of July, our talented musicians were back, entertaining all our guests while enjoying sunset or even happy-hour at the main pool. Daily performances can be enjoyed poolside to wind down the day and enjoy with a drink or two during the ever popular happy hour at the sunken “Ool Bar” (remember there is no “P” in our Sunken Pool bar! . 77th Indonesian Independence Day Festivities at Bali Dynasty Resort

Experience the celebrations of the 77^th Indonesian Independence Day just like the local community! From 15th to 20th August 2022, Bali Dynasty Resort will be holding numerous fun activities to spice things up in conjunction with Indonesia’s 77^th anniversary such as Blood Donations, Beach Cleaning followed by Fun Sports and Games and Flag Ceremony on the 17^th August 2022. Guests are welcome to join the fun sports and games.

We are also inviting diners to embrace the spirit of Indonesian Independence Day with a Indonesia’s culinary experience at Café Piazza and H2O Restaurant. On the 15^th to 21st August 2022, Bali Dynasty Resort will be hosting an Indonesian Food Festival named Pasar Senggol from 6 PM – 9 PM.

Numerous food stalls and a variety of souvenir stalls will be available during the festival.  The food stalls will offer light bites known as “jajanan pasar”, as well as popular Indonesian dishes such as Mie Goreng, Gado Gado, Satay, Bakso, Chicken Salad Palembang. Meanwhile, colourful souvenir stalls will showcase a variety of local arts and crafts.

Enjoy each of these local inspired dishes starting from IDR 42.000 ++/ dish while All You Can Eat Pasar Senggol is also available, priced at IDR 155.000 ++/ pax, and you’ll enjoy them all.

Charity Updates

Bali Dynasty Resort is more than just accommodation. With our commitment to strive to help people in need and with the support of Solemen Bali and Wow Booze, Bali Dynasty Resort was able to host a Charity Gala on Friday July 9th at Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub.  As the resort’s and Solemen‘s most anticipated fundraising event this year, it was attended by more than 100 guests and was an overwhelming success. It was made possible by the generosity of all attendees and the major sponsor, Wow Booze.

The event was officially hosted by Robert Epstone, the Founder of Solemen Indonesia. Numerous performances throughout the evening, such as live music by Soundcastle, Las Chicas Dancers, and Magicman Vino Talenta. The impressive canapés curated by Gracie Kelly’s kitchen team were served during the night.

The event was able to raise a funds through the party entrance fee and from the sale of the raffle tickets.  All proceeds and 5% of the total revenue at Gracie Kelly’s during that night will be directed to Solemen Indonesia foundation. 

To date Bali Dynasty Resort has been able to fund the Bali Dynasty Resorts’ Recovery Centre last year – this is a supporting facility within the new Solemen Centre, replacing the previous Sole House. The Bali Dynasty Recovery Centre is a comfortable home environment where patients can recuperate after surgery or treatment. There is also a self-contained room for patients requiring isolated care. In addition, a Solemen Car was purchased to transport people in need to the hospital for free. Other initiatives have included the installation of community toilets and shower blocks for an impoverished extended family group in North Bali, giving 26 people access to basic bathroom facilities and proper hygiene.

Last but not least a big thank you for the extraordinary support and generosity from the attendees and friends for supporting and believing in this worthy cause.

Bali News - Maybank Marathon 2022

Maybank Marathon is an annual road race presented by Maybank Indonesia which is now reaches its one decade celebration since it was first held in 2012 in Bali. Titled as Maybank Marathon, formerly known as Bali Marathon, it now become as one of the main choices for sport tourism events, as the road race is beyond than just a road race for runners, but Bali is also a holiday destination for the entire family. Maybank Marathon Bali is an international athletic event with a touch of Balinese Culture, its natural beauty and hospitality of the people. Since 2013, Maybank Marathon has established itself as the first marathon in Indonesia and has consistently listed in the official race directory of Boston Marathon. In 2020, Maybank Marathon became Indonesia's first and only ‘Elite Label’ marathon event, acknowledged by the World Athletics and is included as one of World Athletics' marathon events.

Maybank Marathon has also received various recognitions, one among eleven, “Remarkable races in the world that one must participate before you die” by The Active, one of “The 52 Best Races on Earth 2016” by Runnersworld, Best Marathon 2016, and the Most Popular Sport Event 2018.

In the spirit of celebrating one decade of Maybank Marathon, Maybank Indonesia proudly announces its 'Elite Label' road race event Maybank Marathon 2022 to be held on 28 August 2022 at Bali Safari & Marine Park, Gianyar, Bali, with the Race Pack Collection held on August 26-27 at Taman Bhagawan, Benoa, Bali.

Maybank Marathon 2022 in Bali will compete the run categories of marathon (42.195 km), half-marathon (21.1 km) and 10K categories.

The Registration for Maybank Marathon Bali 2022 has been opened since 16 April 2022 on the website here (www.maybank.co.id/maybank-marathon) site.

Cultural Events - Banyu Pinaruh

Banyu Pinaruh is one of the key events held during Saraswati celebrations in Bali. The event is celebrated every 210 days in accordance with the Balinese Calendar.

At the core of this event is the celebration of the virtue of knowledge and the role it plays in the present day world.

The name Banyu Pinaruh is derived from two words: Banyuh, which translates to ‘holy waters’ and Pinaruh which means ‘knowledge’. A combination of the two words means that locals regard this as the celebration of the sacred waters of knowledge. This is derived from the fact that locals believe that Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, gave knowledge to the human race on this particular day.

As a cultural ritual that is part of the traditions in Bali, the event is characterised by gathering of the locals in the early morning at any of the following locations: the river banks, the shores of the lake or at the beach. Taking a bath at these locations is believed to rejuvenate the body and get rid of the mundane feeling that comes from day to day activities.

This is often accompanied by the offering of sacrifices prior to the bath session. Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most famous sea temple, is a favourite destination for Banyu Pinaruh, so visitors who would like to join the locals can make a stopover at this intricate sea temple.

Tanah Lot Temple is a unique temple that is perched on a rocky outcrop over the sea. Located near North Kuta, this temple is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Bali. To get to the temple, you will walk through a number of stalls selling all kinds of food, drinks and souvenirs. Be prepared to haggle for souvenirs, as the prices are “tourist prices” and can often be negotiated down.

This year, Banyu Pinaruh will be held in August (date to be advised), where celebrations will be organized in multiple beaches around Kuta, Nusa Dua, Melasti, Sanur, Pandawa, Tanah Lot and many more.

The hotel and its staff were brilliant. The kids were never bored even when choosing not to leave the hotel. The staff were always pleasant and accommodating. Everything from feeding the fish to the on-site water park made it effortless to entertain our two, 3 years and one, 10 years. Me and my family stayed in the kids suite, the room was big with bunk beds, that made my eldest son really happy. The kids suite is near to the pool and restaurant, so we don't have to walk far. My kids were having a blast staying here, he went up on the pool slide more than 20 times I think, even my husband went up to the slide also. The small playground is good also. All of the staff are really nice, friend and always smile. There were many lifeguards on the swimming pool, they even remembered my son face every time I came to the pool slide to look for him. There was  also a short path so we can go to the beach, every afternoon my sons will swim and at 5pm we will go to the beach to play. I’m very very happy with Bali Dynasty and will stay there again next time we go to Bali with my family. Junita s

Stayed here for 3 weeks with my three young children. All the Staff were great at the resort. I’ve been to many resorts around the world and I can say this was the most welcoming and had great facilities for the children. Kids loved feeding the ducks and fishes. They could not get enough of the water-park but unfortunately, they were too young to experience the kids club. Location is great 3 malls within walking distance and the beach right behind the resort is great for a walk and watching the sunset. We will be back for sure for many years to come. Waqas Nasir UK

We had the best family holiday at Bali Dynasty! The staff and facilities here are perfect. The free kids and teens club kept my kids happy and gave me and my partner some much needed time to relax and enjoy our holiday as well. The waterslide, kids water fun zone and fun activities were also really good. The Spa and adults only pool area were also a great place to escape and get away from the kids.
