Bali Dynasty Resort Supported Million Meals March

After a very successful event in 2021 that raised over 1 billion IDR in funds, this year Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Indonesia has again run a charity long distance run/walk event  titled "Million Meals March" on  May 21, 2022.

The event's purpose remains the same as last year, to provide food for the most vulnerable people in Bali and Indonesia.  This year there were 3 tracks: 25 Km, 15 Km and 5 Km suitable for all ages. Journey started at PuriAnyar (The Royal Palace) of Kerambitan, then took all participants through the villages of Kerambitan, down to the dense jungles of Tabanan, through the Yeh Ho river, across the cascading beautiful rice fields, and finally to Kelating Beach. All participants finished on the beachfront for well-deserved food and drinks.

This year Bali Dynasty Resort has been supporting the event as a part of our commitment to help the community in needs in Bali. Several team members from Bali Dynasty Resort took part in15-km-long-march through the stunning secenery around the lush Tabanan rice fields and succeeded to raise donations along with other participants. These donations were collected and would be delivered to those in need supervised by the team from SOS Indonesia.

SOS is an International Non-Profit Organization that focuses on Humanitarian and Environmental projects in Thailand and Indonesia. SOS was established in 2012 with first operations in Bangkok (Thailand), followed by Bali (Indonesia) in 2017 and then in Phuket and Hua Hin (Thailand). Mark your calendar and get ready for the most anticipated charity events this July. With the support of Wow Booze and our resort which are committed to support people in needs, our resort will host Solemen Charity Fundraiser which will be held on July 3rdfrom 5PM – 7PM on the Gracie Kelly’s rooftop and continuing into the night downstairs with a live band, games and prizes to be given away.

The upcoming Solemen Charity Fundraiser will be an opportunity to gather with friends and family also participate in a worthy cause.  This fundraising event will aim to raise some much-needed funds to alleviate the suffering of disadvantaged individuals through collaboration with Solemen Indonesia.

Tickets are selling so fast! With IDR 350.000 / person you will be entitled to enjoy a 2 hours free flow of premium cocktails, beers and sangria provided by Wow Booze, delicious canapés provided by Bali Dynasty Resort, Bali’s best live entertainment, and free entry to Gracie Kelly’s after-party till late. Charity Updates

With the support from our loyal guests and their generous donations, Bali Dynasty Resort has been able to establish and sponsor the Bali Dynasty Resort Care & Recovery Centre. This care facility replicates a nurturing home environment that provides the necessary assistance and resources required to keep families together before, during, and after medical treatment. With the centre now open and being operated by Solemen Indonesia, a non-profit charity foundation, Bali Dynasty Resort is focusing its efforts to cover expenses for a number of Sole Buddies who are currently in residence. 

For these upcoming weeks, Bali Dynasty Resort will be continuing to help kids in need under the program Heart Kids Program in corporation with Solemen Indonesia focusing on Congenital Heart Defects. CHD is the most common types of birth defects. Some of congenital heart defects in children are complex and require several surgeries. Due to limited equipment available at the local hospitals, some of Solemen Kids with CHD will be carried out in a major hospital in Jakarta (RSCM and Harapan Kita Hospitals). The cost for every assessment and surgery is approximately IDR 35.000.000 per kid which covering transportation, meals, accommodation, and medicine. Yet, BPJS will be covering the surgery. These are Solemen lovely kids that need our help to make these treatments running accordingly.

Arinata

Arinata is a 6 year old little girl born in Badung. Solemen Indonesia firstly met her in 2018 where she was sadly in devastating condition. After finding a fundraiser she finally had her first surgery in Jakarta. But the fight isn’t done yet, she is now waiting for her turn to have her second surgery (fontan surgery) in Harapan Kita Heart Hospital Jakarta.

Gede Budi

Gede Budi is a 7 year old boy from Buleleng. Solemen Indonesia firstly reached him in 2018 after months monitoring done by our care. At the moment, he has an urge to for a Blalock surgery in Jakarta. When the donation is collected, Solemen Indonesia will be scheduling the surgery and set up a schedule with the hospital.

Dynasty Rewards

We changed hotels whilst in Bali and came here. We received a warm welcome and speedy check in. Rooms large and comfortable with good air on which is a must. Pool area large with lots of sun beds and swim up bar. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Food good from sandwiches to full dinner. A good choice at breakfast. Hotel has very good facilities for children so lots of kids. There is a kid slide area in a separate pool and a huge slide for everyone to use there are also non-kid areas. The spa is lovely. Centrally located in the Kuta market, the resort is very kid friendly and ideal for small groups of families and friends. The rooms are neat and clean. The pool is decent, restaurants too are good. Service is excellent and cordial staff are ready to help. Outside the resort you have the famous Queens restaurant serving Indian food and a number of super markets to serve your needs.
