Great news, effective from March 23rd, 2022 the Government of Indonesia has resumed the Visa on Arriva (VOA) program which allows 42 countries to enter Bali with greater ease.

VISA Entry Requirements specificly for international arrivals on VOA or eVISA.

• VOA-Visa on Arrival costs IDR 500.000 per person (applies to adults and children) and the payment is on arrival.
• VOA-Visa on Arrival is for a single Entry into Bali/Indonesia, for a stay up to 30 days and can be extended for a maximum 1 time.

International Travelers Entry Conditions

• International travelers 0 – 17 DO NOT require to show COVID-19 Vaccination proof 
• International travelers 18 years and above require to be fully vaccinated.
• A Negative COVID-19 PCR test (2 x 24 hours) before arrival in Bali
• Vaccination proof can be uploaded as part of the eHAC requirement.  
  In case the system fails clients can present physical copy of EU or WHO Vaccination proof (fully vaccinated)
• Upon arrival at DPS Airport ground staff can help to integrate data into PEDULI LINDUNGI APP.
• Travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage per person

Cultural Events - Lovina Beach Festival 2022

The Lovina Beach Festival is held in April this year along Kalibukbuk Beach on the northern part of the island near Lovina. This year, Lovina Beach Festival will be organized starting from 5 to 10 April 2022 at Lovina Beach Jalan Raya Singaraja, Kaliasem.

One of the main reasons for this beach festival is that it draws thousands of people to a less-visited part of the island, Lovina. As Lovina is located on the northern coast of Bali, not many people make the effort to travel up there during their stay in Bali. However, the people in the Buleleng Regency want as many visitors as possible to travel up here to see the natural beauty of this part of the island.

The Lovina Beach Festival is a 3-day festival that highlights the traditions and cultural practices of the Balinese people. An opening ceremony opens the event with a parade which features music and dance.

Other highlights of the festival are the handicraft exhibitions, photography contests, flower offerings, bull race, puppet performances and plenty of live music. You will find plenty of food and drink stalls serving local Balinese cuisine and some traditional favourites.

The closing event includes a traditional Northern Balinese dance performance including the Ki Barak Panji Sakti and Gong Kebyar. Locals and foreigners are welcome to attend all events, as it is promoted as an inclusive event.

The Lovina Beach Festival is about a 3 hours drive from Kuta Beach. So why not come and stay for a night or two and explore this beautiful part of Bali.
