It’s Official! Visa on Arrival is available at Bali’s Airport

Bali's newest arrival information for a more pleasant and relaxed holiday! This is according to the current regulations of open travel to Bali. With the easiest of regulations (since the pandemic)covered to assure you have a relaxing holiday!

As we are all very used to the fast changing policies, this is the current news for entering Bali. 

As of 10 March 2022, all international travelers who have either a VOA (Visa on arrival) or Business visa who enter Bali must have their COVID-19 vaccines, however, guestsmust stay in a CHSE licensed hotel for a minimum of 3 consecutive nights. After being cleared from the airport and arriving at your accommodation you are free to move about. Arrival packages with Bali Dynasty Resort include airport transfer from the airport, 2x PCR (1 upon arrival and one on the 3rd day) and mandatory insurance. After the 3 nights you are then free to move around Bali and beyond or even better yet continue your stay at Bali Dynasty Resort.

Cultural News - Pagerwesi

Pagerwesi is a Balinese ceremony celebrated every 210 days according to the traditional Balinese calendar.

The name of this ceremony is obtained from two local words: pager and wesi. Pager is a local word that translates to ‘fence’, while wesi means ‘iron’. The full word’s literal meaning is iron fence and is when the Balinese people strengthen their minds and souls against evil forces.

The festivities are held in honour of Siva, the third deity in Hindu religion. Siva is honoured as the god who protects the universe, and locals will pay their respects in order to invoke prosperity as well as pray for protection.

The date of the festival coincides with the celebration of Saraswati and the reason for this is that after the celebration of knowledge and divine inspiration during Saraswati, Pagerwasi is held to protect and shield this knowledge and inspiration from evil forces.

This year, Pagerwesi will be celebrated on the 30th of March 2022. Ceremonies will be conducted at temples all over the island.

We were in Bali Dynasty from 10th November to 16th November and had the best of fun times. The hotel is very clean with spacious rooms and attached balconies.
