Independence Day Themed Dinner

Embrace the spirit of Indonesian Independence Day with a traditional culinary experience.

On 17th August 2019, Bali Dynasty Resort will be hosting a special dining event from 6pm to 10pm to spice things up in celebration of Indonesia’s 74th anniversary. 

Our Balinese Rijsttafel dinner will take place in the decorated ambience of Sen5es Restaurant featuring colourful souvenir stalls showcasing local arts and crafts. The word rijsttafel is a Dutch term that literally translates as ‘rice table’. It is a shared dining concept that dates back to colonial times when esteemed guests were welcomed with a lavish Indonesian feast presenting many different dishes.  

Savour an elaborate four-course meal including a starter, soup, rice accompanied by various main dishes, vegetables and sambal condiments. Offering a selection of tasting sized portions served family style, this dinner is the perfect introduction to the exotic flavours of local cuisine. A buffet of traditional sweet treats will also be available to round off this unique culinary adventure. It is priced at only IDR 360.000 nett for two people.

Pure Harmony by Ashoka Spa

This revitalising package begins with a gentle foot bath to soothe walk-weary toes. After that, your entire body will be covered by a cucumber mask to give your skin a new lease of life. Bali Upgrading Airport to Handle 32 Flights Every Hour by October 2019                                               

Balipost.com reports that Bali’s Airport Authority – Angkasa Pura is adding flight slots to facilitate an anticipated increase in tourist arrivals starting from October 2019. Elfir Amid, head of the District IV Flight Authority that includes operations from Ngurah Rai International Airport, confirmed on Monday, 1st July 2019 that Bali’s Airport will go from handling 30 flight movements per hour to 32. The additional flight slots will be available only for international flights.

Amir confirmed that there are currently four airlines on the waiting list to commence flights to Bali in October 2019. There are no plans to add domestic flight slots at this time. The managers of Bali’s Airport, Angkasa Pura, are targeting to have a new rapid exit taxiway (RET) ready by October 2019. (Source bali_advertiser)

Buleleng Festival

If you are thinking of heading to the north part of Bali this August, you might want to consider visiting the Buleleng Festival 2019. This annual cultural event will present a full schedule of attractions including a fashion carnival, food stalls, traditional music performances, rock bands and art exhibitions. This year, Buleleng Festival 2019 will take place in several locations across Singaraja. All exhibitions will be held at Gedung Sasana Budaya Singaraja and Buleleng Tourism Office at Jl. Veteran. Meanwhile, the carnival will take place at Singa Ambara Raja Monument in Buleleng City. The event will run from 2nd to 6th August 2019. Charity Update

Bali Dynasty Resort has always been more than just a hotel. Apart from welcoming travellers from around the globe, we are committed to helping those less fortunate within the local community.

Working together with Solemen, a Bali-based charity organisation, we have been able to fund life-saving operations, provide access to essential medical care, source equipment for the physically disabled, and much more. To date, we have been able to take care of approximately 2,000 people since we first began supporting Solemen in 2016.

Through our ‘Helping Friends for Life’ initiative and with the support from you, our guests, we recently commenced our biggest charity project yet. The Bali Dynasty Recovery Centre is a care facility with a home environment that aims to provide the support and resources required to keep families together before, during, and after medical treatment. Strategically located on the ground floor of the new Solemen Centre in Kuta, this nurturing facility is sponsored exclusively by Bali Dynasty Resort. So far, we have successfully managed to create and furnish a total of 10 comfortable bedrooms.

Our efforts don’t just stop there and there is still much more to be accomplished. Therefore, we are urgently seeking funds to finalise the kitchen, lounge, and bathrooms. Numerous items such as lounge chairs, kids’ equipment, crockery, cutlery, baby bottles, kitchen utensils, rice storage, linen, a TV, dining furniture and medical suppliers are all needed.

I Made Sarjana - Employee of The Month/Heart of The House

I Made Sarjana, or Sarjana as his friends call him, has been nominated as our Employee of the Month ‘Heart of the House’. Sarjana has been working for the Bali Dynasty Resort since 1993 in the Food & Beverage Kitchen as Commis Cook. He is known amongst his colleagues as a very friendly and pro-active person. Congratulations!

Ni Made Wahyuni – Employee of The Month/Front of The House

Ni Made Wahyuni, or Yuni as she is known to her friends, has been nominated as our Employee of the Month ‘Front of the House’. Yuni, has been working for the Bali Dynasty Resort since 2016 as a Guest Relations Officer. Yuni is known amongts her colleagues as a multi-talented and very cheerful person.  Congratulations!
