Why to Stay in Family Rooms?

One great challenge for a successful family holiday is finding the right accommodation for everyone. If you are travelling with a big family of 5, here are six good reasons why you should consider staying in one of our Family Rooms!

Every Family Room can sleep up to 5 people

Our family rooms are specially designed to provide comfortable accommodation for a maximum of 5 people. The room is divided into two sections, i.e. the main sleeping area that features a king size bed, and the second sleeping area with its bunk bed and trundle.

Additional privacy with full sliding partition door

Stay in a Family Pool View Room, Kids’ Suite or Family Studio and enjoy having privacy thanks to a full sliding glass door partition, complete with black-out roller blinds, which separate the main sleeping area and the second sleeping area. Some of the Family Garden Rooms also have full slide partition.

Each sleeping area has its own TV and DVD Player

Every room is equipped with two TVs that have access to 60 local and international channels providing you with a full menu of entertainment. DVD players are available in the room and already connected to the TVs for your convenience. As for the Kids’ Suites, instead of a DVD Player in the kids’ sleeping area, there is a Playstation 3, complete with the latest games connected to the TV, which kids can use for free.

Various locations with different views

Located on the ground floor, the Family Garden Room provides access to the garden via a sliding patio door to the terrace. The Family Studio Rooms are located from the ground floor to the third floor, each with a veranda or balcony providing you with a view over the front garden and pond. The Family Pool View Room has direct access to the garden and pool via an outdoor terrace, enabling kids to run around outside.

Free Kids Toiletries

Forgot to bring toiletries for your kids? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We provide free toiletries for kids in all of our Family Rooms. The toiletries include kids’ toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and a rubber duck to play with in the bathtub.

Guaranteed Connecting Rooms for ultimate privacy

We can guarantee to give you two Deluxe Interconnecting Rooms when you book Deluxe Family Package. These connecting rooms feature a king size bed in one room and two single beds in the other room, one complimentary rollaway bed per room, and a bathroom for each room. Monk Jumps over the Wall’ at Golden Lotus

Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant invites you to try ‘Monk Jumps over the Wall’, a popular soup from Fujian Province during Tang Dynasty. This exclusive menu is available from 1st April 2018 until 30 June 2018 for lunch and dinner.

Monk Jumps over the Wall is a complex soup prepared from many ingredients including scallops, sea cucumber, abalone, calamari, chicken, shiitake mushroom and Chinese spices and herbs. The complexity requires one or two days of cooking, which gives the soup its rich taste.

Known in Chinese as ‘Fotiaoqiang’, this soup derived its name from a legend, which told that the soup was so enticing that even a vegetarian monk could not restrain himself and would sneak out of the monastery by jumping over its wall to steal a taste.

Savour this popular dish the next time you visit Golden Lotus. It is priced at only IDR 130K nett per bowl.

Reserve a table by calling (+62 361) 752 403 or email fbsec@bdr.pphotels.com

Charity Update

In our commitment to provide sustainable support to the disadvantaged people in Bali, we organise regular fundraising efforts at the Resort. One of them is the popular twice-weekly Quiz Night at Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub.

Simply by donating IDR 50,000 to charity, guests at Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub can join the Quiz Night. The donation will go to the charity account to support a specific cause, such as providing medical assessment to the sick and elderly from impoverished families, purchasing wheelchairs and other much-needed items. Participants can see, on the big screen, how much money has already been raised and how much is still needed. Quiz Nights have successfully supported many individuals and made a difference to their lives.

Quiz Night is held every Tuesday at 7.30pm and every Thursday at 8.30pm. Quiz Night and Gracie Kelly’s are open for all guests.
