Golden Lotus Chinese New Year Specials

Welcome the coming of the year of Earth Dog with Golden Lotus’s special Chinese New Year menu at a very affordable price. Starting from 9 February until 3 March 2018, Golden Lotus presents the popular Yee Sang Salad and the extensive set menu Hong Wan Salmon Yee Sang dish.

Yee Sang is a special salad made up of salmon fish fillet, thinly sliced carrots, shredded yam, chopped peanuts and other vegetables, mixed and seasoned with Chinese spices and Golden Lotus special sauce. Tossing Yee Sang is believed to bring prosperity and therefore has become a tradition in many Chinese communities. Yee Sang salad is available in three different portions: small – IDR 90K, medium – IDR 175K and large – IDR 250K nett.

Try also the set menu Hong Wan Salmon Yee Sang. Only IDR 278K nett per person for a minimum 2 persons, enjoy extensive meals which include:

Abalone, or bao yu in Chinese, is one of the most sought after delicacies during the Chinese New Year as it means ‘assurance’ (bao) and ‘surplus’ (yu) for the Chinese people

The New Look of Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant

We are pleased to announce that Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant has recently been upgraded with a brand new interior, food presentation and overall standards of excellence to continue delivering an exemplary dining experience.

The interior upgrade showcases a new decor and furnishings, with the central high ceiling has been repainted in black with a beautiful set of traditional red lanterns as its focal point. Additional lighting is also added to ensure a brighter view across the room.

To complement the upgrade, Golden Lotus has further elevated the high standard of its food presentation and quality. Each dish is prepared with no added MSG and is served in generous portions. Even the small portions can serve up to three people. New dim sum items have been introduced, including steamed and fried prawns, pork and beef based dim sum, boosting the restaurant’s already-extensive dim sum lunch, which now comprises over 55 choices of dim sum selections.
