Christmas Festivities at Bali Dynasty Resort

Christmas is just around the corner and whether you are celebrating it with family or friends, we have prepared some great Christmas celebrations to put you in the festive spirit!

This year, the Resort offers Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Day Lunch and Christmas Day Dinner. Each of these has been carefully designed with special courses and entertainment as well as being great value for money. Prices start from IDR 390K for the Christmas Eve Dinner, IDR 500K for Christmas Day Lunch and IDR 400K for Christmas Day Dinner, all of which are already tax inclusive. Kids under 6 years of age eat free from the buffet, while those aged 6 to 12 years are entitled to 50% off.

Charity Update

Bali Dynasty Resort Sponsors Solemen House

Following the success of the Solemen Charity Car (a courtesy car that transports the needy and their families from the remote areas of Bali to the hospital) in January 2017, Bali Dynasty Resort continues to help the disadvantaged by sponsoring the Solemen House in Renon, Denpasar. Fully operated by Solemen Indonesia, the house is a massive help for the poor and their families who live far away from the hospital, and for whom basic needs such as sleeping or bathing are a rare extravagance.

The house features four bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, a living room and a communal kitchen with running water and electricity. To complete the house, the Bali Dynasty Resort has also donated many of the furnishings, including beds, TV, fridges and more. Located on Jalan Tukad Oos in Renon, the house is within close proximity to the Sanglah Hospital, the main and most complete hospital facility in Bali. Transfer to and from the hospital is easily organised at no cost via Bali Dynasty Resort’s charity car, which is operating every day.

The house was opened on the 31st of July 2017. The first guests were the family of Setya Artini, from Karangasem, East Bali, whose baby suffers from a heart condition and Down syndrome.

AirAsia Indonesia to Connect Bali and Calcutta

AirAsia Indonesia, the local affiliate of Southeast Asia's largest low-cost airline, AirAsia, will begin operating a new route connecting Bali with Calcutta, India, on 1st October 2017. The flights will use an Airbus A320 airplane, which has a 180-seat capacity.

The flights from Bali to Calcutta will take around seven and a half hours, including a short transit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and will operate four times weekly. Flights will depart from Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport at 8.20 p.m. and arrive in Kolkata at 1.25 a.m.

This new service is expected to ease access for Indian tourists visiting Bali and offer alternative options for Indonesians wanting to visit Calcutta, a city full of historical and rich cultural sites.

BALINALE International Film Festival

BALINALE will kick off its 11th year on 24th September, and will run until 30th September 2017 at the CINEMAXX in Lippo Mall Kuta, only 5 minutes on foot from the Bali Dynasty Resort.

The theme for this year’s event is “Connecting Communities through the World of Film” – encouraging films as the means to promote tolerance and acceptance of diversified cultures.

BALINALE 2017 pre-festival activities will complement the expanded main programme of daily performances, children’s activities, student workshops, a nationwide film competition & roadshow, plus a free open-air cinema for a community that has grown to love and eagerly anticipate this annual festival.

There will also be special screenings with 'Filmmaker in attendance', where the artists and filmmakers are present to introduce their films and meet the audience.

The BALINALE period offers a fun additional activity for movie-goers holidaying in Bali.

Free Kids Toiletries

As a part of our commitment to deliver the best holiday experience to the little ones, in August we introduced free kids toiletries for those staying at the Kids Suites or the brand new Family Suites.

The kids toiletries include special kids toothpaste and toothbrush as well as kids shampoo, all of which are provided for free. The rubber duck, which has become a hit, is still available too.

One set of kids toiletries is available for free at each Kids Suites and Family Suites. Should you need more or would like to have it when staying in other room categories, please contact our Housekeeping to purchase another one.

Dynasty Rewards

As an appreciation for your support in referring people to stay at the Bali Dynasty Resort, we have launched the Referral Programme which will allow you to collect points by referring new guests to stay at the Bali Dynasty Resort.

This programme is part of the Dynasty Rewards programme. You will earn points starting from 100 points for every booking you refer. These points will be added to your Rewards Account once your referee has checked out, which means you have the opportunity to earn points faster even when you are not in the resort but you must make sure that the person you are referring includes your Rewards Membership number when making the reservation!
