On New Year’s Eve, Bali Dynasty Resort presents the “Rock ‘N Roll Party” providing you with a sumptuous dinner, extensive live entertainment including a DJ, band, fire dance and lucky draw with fabulous prizes to be won. We also have a New Years’ Party at our famous Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub and we welcome the New Year with the little ones in the Kids Club! (Kid residents only!)

Get Ready for the 24th Back to Bali Dynasty Party next year
Mark your calendar for the upcoming Back to Bali Dynasty Party 2017. Scheduled on Saturday, 11 February 2017, the Back to Bali Dynasty Party will return to the Subiaco Football Club in Leederville.
Attending the event will also give you opportunity to participate in a noble cause. Being our major fundraising event, the Back to Bali Dynasty Party will raise the much needed fund to alleviate the suffering of individuals in Bali through a collaborative work between Bali Dynasty Resort and Solemen Indonesia. Launched in February 2016, the project is called “Help Friends for Life” and has been successful to help the disadvantaged individuals with healthcare assistance, school funds and much needed items such as prosthetic legs, wheelchairs, mattresses, Pediasure and more.
As always you can also expect to see some of your favourite Bali Dynasty Resort staff in attendance too!

Golden Lotus Delicious Peking Duck
One of the most popular signature dishes of Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant is now offered at a very special price only until end of December.
The whole Peking duck is presented at your table by our chef and prepared as an appetizer in front of you with the duck skin in a Chinese pancake with spring onion, cucumber and the restaurant’s sweet black bean sauce; followed by a delicious soup of duck bones and vegetables and finished off with the main course of duck meat served in your choice of black bean or black pepper sauce.

Tropical Romance – 180 minutes
Enter the romantic Ashoka Couple Suite where your spa journey begins with the footbath cleansing ritual continued by Ashoka Signature Massage. He will enjoy coffee scrub while she will indulge in Javanese lulur after which yoghurt will be applied to revitalise the skin. Treatment continues with carrot body wraps, a floral bath and ends with Traditional Indonesian Facial.
Divine Dynasty – 210 minutes
Set in the serenity of the Ashoka Couple Suite, the treatment begins with a footbath ritual, traditional Balinese massage, and your choice of exfoliating body scrubs. You will also be cocooned in your choice of body wraps to nourish the skin before heading to aromatherapy bath. The treatment ends with a choice of traditional Indonesian facial, manicure or pedicure.
Mother & Daughter – 120 minutes

Facilities for Physically Challenged Guests
In keeping with our commitment to deliver the best holiday experience, we are committed to ensure that our facilities and services are accessible to all.
One of our rooms has been modified to cater for physically challenged guests. The room features roll in showers, in-shower folding seat, grab rails in the bathroom, and multiple storage spaces under the table in the bedroom. The room is located behind the main lobby with a wide pathway and an easy access to the elevator, ensuring wheelchair-accessibility and hassle free access to to all areas of the resort.
Wheelchair rental is also available at the Tour & Information Centre with an additional cost.
We take the needs and equal treatment of all our guests seriously. Therefore if during your stay if you feel there is something we could do to assist you, or make your stay more comfortable, please do not hesitate to contact our 24-hour Reception.
Since commencing with Solemen in February 2016, the charity effort has been successful in helping the disadvantaged with both long term support and one-off donations. With the favourable results of the charity effort, Bali Dynasty Resort and Solemen will continue to bring smiles to many individuals in need.
Early this November, Bali Dynasty Resort committed to support a few more individuals in the coming months. Here is the list of our new adopted friends.
Wayan Suriadi from Karangasem. Suffered from fractured ulna resulting in Volkmann contracture. He now needs fund to continue his assessment and preparation for surgery.
Putu Aditya & Kadek Ardiana from Klungkung. The siblings were born with club feet and will need assessment with a specialist foot orthopaedic surgeon.
I Nengah Arya from Tabanan. Has difficulty to walk and therefore needs special shoes to aid him.
Putu Lia from Buleleng. She needs a hearing assessment for her hearing problem.
I Komang Gita from Bangli. He suffers from Harlequin Ichthyosis and needs a comprehensive assessment at the hospital.
Putu Miantika from Karangasem. Aged 3 years old, she suffers from cerebral palsy and is malnourished. She requires thorough assessment at the hospital and Pediasure for nutrition.
Bali Dynasty Resort also commits to aid the family of Ni Komang Supartini from Karangasem. She suffered from 45% burns and was hospitalised for almost 3 months. Although she is now out from hospital, her recovery is slower than expected. She will need to continue her treatment in the coming months. Through our charity, the Bali Dynasty Resort is pleased to provide an extended monthly support for her recovery.
Help us to help them. There are various ways in which you can help. You can participate in our twice a week Quiz Night at Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub, Bingo at the Pool as well as making donation to the Charity Boxes around the resort.
Garuda Indonesia to Open Route from Bali to Chengdu
Garuda Indonesia plans to open a new route from Bali to Chengdu in China on 15th of Jan 2017. The direct flight is slated to fly four times a week using an Airbus aircraft.
According to Garuda’s President Director Arif Wibowo, China is considered as a huge tourist market and Chengdu can serve as a potential entry point to tap into. (Source: The Jakarta Post)
Batik Air Plans Bali-Perth Route in Australian Push
Lion Air Group's full service airline unit Batik Air is set to launch a Bali to Perth route after obtaining Air Operator Certification on Friday 25th November 2016 which would allow the unit to extend its consumer base to Australia.
Lion Air Group president director Edward Sirait said under the permission by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Batik Air will be able to operate three aircraft — Airbus A320-200, Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 — in the round-trip flight to Australia. (Source: Jakarta Globe)
Bali Beach Run – 11 December
The Bali Beach Run returns in December with a new route, and an emphasis on a 'Fun Run' aspect, without the use of timing chips like in its previous years. Runners will leave the starting line at Petitenget Beach at 06:00 sharp, then run southwards along the coast before turning back towards Petitenget, depending on running category.
Categories are: 2.5km family run, 5km fun run, and a full 10km run. Now in its third year, Bali Beach Run expects up to 5,000 participants, a large bump from 1,500 in its inaugural year in 2013. Registrations are open until 8 December. For more information, check out www.balibeachrun.com
Denpasar Festival – 28 until 30 December 2016
The Denpasar Festival held in Bali’s provincial capital is set to return for the ninth time from 28th until 31st of December 2016. Under the theme “Padmaksara”, the event will be centered in Puputan Badung Square and will host various kinds of performances as well as an art installation dubbed “Ebullience”, which is displayed as a form of joy in welcoming the New Year.
Tumpek Wayang – 31 December 2016
Tumpek Wayang is a special day filled with blessings dedicated towards the traditional performing art form of shadow puppetry. Various offerings are made to the equipment and range of character puppets involved in the traditional theatrical art
Tumpek Wayang is one part in a series of Tumpek days for blessing different subjects. The others include Tumpek Kandang celebrated earlier in January, Tumpek Uduh for plants, Tumpek Landep for metal objects and tools, Tumpek Kuningan for ancestral spirits, and Tumpek Krulut for traditional gamelan music instruments – all which occur in a 210-day cycle on the Pawukon calendar.

Every month we hold a staff gathering, where we celebrate our staff birthdays, present an update on whats going on to all our team members as well as recognise those members of staff who have excelled. In October these staff members have excelled in their duties and the services offered to our guests. We also have a Guest Nomination Award and this award is chosen by our guests who fill in the guest feedback forms before they check out.
I KETUT KARYA
Heart of the House. He joined Bali Dynasty Resort in 1992 and currently works as one of our Security Guards. You will most probably see him at the front gate, ensuring the security of the area. A father of 2, he prefers to spend his time with his family while he is not at work.
NI LUH SRI SASRAWATI
Front of the House. Sasra is very popular amongst our guests, thanks to her friendly smile and cheerful attitude. Working as the Guest Relations Officer in the Front Office Department, Sasra joined Bali Dynasty Resort in 1998.

Sudana is a Housekeeping Attendant who joined Bali Dynasty Resort back in 1991. Being with us for almost 26 years, Sudana is really passionate about his work and enjoys the responsibility of preparing all rooms ensuring they are in the best condition to ensure the maximum comfort for all of our guests.
