Golden Lotus Promotion of the Quarter

From the  1st November to the 31st January 2012 the Golden Lotus is proud to present its signature dish
MONK JUMPS OVER THE WALL

One of the most popular dish of Fujian cuisine during the “Tang Dynasty “ is Monk Jumps Over the Wall. A complex soup making use of many ingredients including Scallops, Sea Cucumber, Chicken , Shitake mushroom and Chinese spices and herbs , requiring one or two days to create. The name of the dish reflects the appeal of soup. It said to be so enticing that even a vegetarians monk ( Buddha ) himself could not restrain himself and would sneak out of the monastery to steal a taste  Visit the Golden Lotus and try this unique dish from November 1st to January 31st. for only Rp. 250,000 net/bowl   ( including a bowl of rice ).

Every Sunday treat yourself to a spectacular Dim Sum Buffet Lunch.

The Buffet starts 10.00am. Dim Sum Buffet pricing for Adults is Rp.95.000 net including Chinese Tea and Children under 12 years eat at half price including a Soft drink.

There’s a special Kid’s area with free colouring materials and a TV to keep them entertained.

The Upper Deck @ H2O

H2O features an upper level called "the Upper Deck', a chill out lounge area providing a cozy atmosphere with cool sounds for sunset Cocktails and after dinner drinks with friends on starlit evenings.
The Upper Deck is also the perfect place to celebrate your special events and private functions such as Birthdays, Weddings and Anniversaries. Also ask about our Champagne Breakfast Parties.
For a group of up to 12 you can also hire out a corner bale, be it  for either a celebratory Champagne Breakfast or your own private function.

Here’s a great party idea. Enjoy Prime Australian Steaks and Beef Sausages cooked on
your very own BBQ at the Upper Deck.
We’ll provide all you need (even our Chef) to make an evening to remember. Only  Rp.190,000 net per person, for a minimum of 10 persons. Please book one day in advance.

Theme Night Dinners at H2O

Our Theme Night Buffet Dinners are now at H₂0 and still offer you a great variety of Local & International cuisine each night.    

Monday night is ‘Italian Pasta & Pizza’ night and includes the Kid’s Fashion show at 7.00pm! 
On Tuesday we have ‘Dine Around the World’ when you can choose from a variety of dishes from around the globe. Also you can watch some of our talented staff in our ‘Dynasty’s got Talent’ Cabaret show.
Wednesdays are ‘Wild West Wednesdays'. Ribs, Burgers, Buffalo style Chicken Wings and a Sausage Sizzle and for the Kids a great Kid’s Magic Show.
Thursday Night is our famous ‘Satay Night'.  Try our char grilled Chicken, Beef and Pork skewers. A Live DJ tonight too!
Friday Nights we get local and present our ‘Malam Bali Night’  An Authentic Balinese Buffet with a Traditional Balinese Dance performance and your Kids can join the Dance too! A great photo opportunity.
Saturday brings us the ‘Aussie BBQ Night’  Prime cuts of juicy Australian Steaks, BBQ Chicken, Beef Sausages. Ask the DJ to play your favourite song.
On Sunday you can enjoy a traditional ‘Roast Night’   A choice of Roast Beef or Pork, Yorkshire Pudding and Gravy.

For Weddings and Wedding Vow renewals, there are 4 unique locations at the resort, the first being at the front of the hotel surrounded by our famous lucky white ducks, or the Inner garden surrounded by the lush tropical gardens, at the Upper Lawn area by the lazy Pool, or our Beachfront.
The Upper Deck at H2O is the perfect party venue to cater for your special events and private functions.
We can also assist you with a selection of menus which you can choose from, including a BBQ dinner or an Indonesian or International Buffet dinner with or without Entertainment.

Looking ahead to the 3rd to 6th of November, and a treat for tennis fans with the Commonwealth Bank 'Tournament of Champions'  Tennis Tournament which brings together the World's top female tennis players for a week of top flight tennis.
Expect to see the likes of Na Li from China, Ana Ivanovic from Serbia and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova from Russia go through their paces to claim this coveted Tennis Trophy.






As part of his current world tour pop star Jason Miraz performs a one off concert on November 9th which is sure to delight his Bali fans.
The concert will be at Taman Bhagawan in Tanjung Benoa.






The Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC) is once again hosting the Nusa Dua Fiesta mid October to November.
We'll keep you posted on the date as it seems exact dates are not released yet.
The festival will showcase the rich diversity of cultures and tourism products of Nusa Dua and around Bali.
Competitions will be featured before and during the event, such as Bartender Competitions, Golf Tournaments, Beach Clean ups, Fun Runs and much much more.
The Fiesta is renowned for showcasing the different dances and costumes of the different regencies of Bali and Beyond, this year to include dance performances from India and Japan.
A visual treat for any visitor to Bali, this years Festival is promising to be an attraction not to be missed. 


And finally Sanur Village Festival is set to return on the 19th to 23rd November taking place at Segara Ayu Beach and Inna Grand Bali Beach Sanur.
Its a great opportunity for Tourists and Locals alike to see the very best of what Sanur can offer the Visitor.
Sanur will showcase its Cultural side with Dance and Music performances and Visitors will get the chance to sample some of Sanur's best restaurants at stalls all in one area.

Staff profile

If you have ever visited our Golden Lotus then you probably have met Wiwik during your visit.

Wiwik joined Bali Dynasty Resort over 18 years ago and was one of the first employees that was hired for the hotel opening.  She is currently in charge in Golden Lotus as Restaurant Supervisor.

Wiwik is married with two children and when asked her favourite pastimes, she says with a smile, I like dancing in my spare time and of course keeping my family happy!

 

Tour of the Month - Bali Adventure Tours

 Bali Adventure Tours is one of the islands first and foremost Tour operators.
They offer a variety of Adventure Tours such as White Water Rafting on the Ayung River, Mountain Cycling from Lake Batur, and Jungle, Village and Rice Paddy Trekking all culminating with Lunch at their world famous Elephant Safari Park in Taro.
Set amidst lush tropical gardens, the Elephant Safari Park is home to endangered Sumatran Elephants where visitors can ride, feed and interact with the Elephants.
