Celebrate Chinese New Year the year of the Tiger at Golden Lotus

Our award-winning Chinese restaurant, Golden Lotus at the Bali Dynasty Resort, invites you to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year with an extra special menu. 

We will have our popular Chinese New Year set menu, such as The Hong Wan Salmon Yee Sang Set Menu—a crispy salad traditionally tossed and shared during this auspicious holiday season as a symbol of prosperity. It promises an extensive feast consisting of Prosperity Yee Sang, Braised  Fish Lips soup, Stir-fried Beef “Saigon“ Style , Deep-Fried  Crispy Roasted Chicken, Steamed Whole Fish with Soya Sauce, Ginger and Spring Onion, Stir Fried King Prawns in Tomato and Chili Sauce, Longevity Noodles with Chicken, Ginger and black mushroom, Stir Fried Broccoli with Garlic Sauce, Sweet Glutinous Rice Balls, and Mandarin Orange. This menu is priced at just IDR 388,000 nett per person for a minimum of 2 people.

Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions at Bali Dynasty Resort

Bali Dynasty Resort, a premier beachside resort in South Kuta renowned for its warm Balinese hospitality, is inviting corporate companies, government groups and other organizations to take full advantage of its new multi-functional meeting venue for events, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.

Launched in 2018, this versatile facility has been designed for the successful execution of meetings and events on the Island of the Gods. Spread across two spacious levels, the venue features a choice of well-appointed meeting rooms. Each has been named after a neighbouring island such as; Grand Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan 1 & 2, Nusa Ceningan 1 & 2. Cultural Events: Tumpek Kandang

Tumpek Kandang is a prominent day of celebration for Balinese locals as this is the time when rhe Balinese show their gratitude for domestic animals. Typically, the celebrations occur every 210 days.

Traditionally, Balinese use an array of domestic animals to help them perform their daily activities. Some of these animals included bulls, cows, ducks, pigs as well as goats. The festival, which is also referred to as Tumpek Andang, is one of the ways in which locals show their appreciation for these animals.

One of the most obvious ways in which this day is celebrated is through giving these domestic animals love and attention. Cows in Bali receive the best treatment than the other animals because they assist farmers when plowing the rice fields.
It is not uncommon to see cows bathing in the river and even getting dressed up by the locals! Coconut leaves are designed to create a conical cap that is placed on the cow’s horns and pigs are embellished with colourful fabrics on their bellies.

In addition to all these, the animals are given the best food as part of Tumpek Kandang. Locals will go out of their way to look for high-quality nutritious food for the animals. It is important, however, to take note that this is not a form of animal worship; instead, the locals see the celebrations as a way to appreciate the gods for the work done by these animals as well as the provision of food resources. Ceremonies are conducted at temples and villages around the Island Bali, Indonesia.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed with my family amongst many cities around the world that I have visited. This is just so perfect a stay with Kids that the kids would not even be interested to be in the Room. To top it all, you can send your kids to the Kids play area and be rest assured for the hotel to take good care of them and will keep them engaged through out the day. Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I had a room with the pool view with decent amount of natural light. The food at the hotel is amazing and the staff very very courteous and friendly. Absolutely no complaints about service. The hotel boasts of meticulous attention to details for family travelers. With family rooms having bunkers for children in a separate area and a separate television within the same room is a very subtle touch. The pool area for the children is a lot of fun for kids. The location is Kuta which is one of the more commercialized areas in Bali. And for Indian travelers there is an Indian restaurant right outside of the hotel.
