Bali to Host G20 Presidency Summit 2022!

Did you know that Bali will be hosting the he 17th annual G20 Heads of State and Government Summit? This event will take place with the official dates on the  15th and 16th  of November 2022 in Bali. The Summit will be the pinnacle of the G20 process and intense work carried out within the Ministerial Meetings, Working Groups, and Engagement Groups throughout the year. 

Taking place in Nusa Dua, Bali, this prestigious event will be attended by 19 countries and one economic region, namely the European Union. These 19 countries consist of South Africa, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia, France, China, and Turkey.

With the theme of "Recover Together, Recover Stronger", at the G20 Summit, Indonesia invites the world to work together in recovering ourselves from the pandemic and build the world in a sustainable way. Bali Community Choir Event

Firstly founded in 2008, The Bali Community Choir (BCC) has emerged from the forced isolation of COVID-19, sounding better and stronger than ever. Now, the BCC has recommenced face-to-face public encounters (masks required).

Bali Community Choir most recently performed at the Australian Consulate in Renon, Denpasar, at a commemoration ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Bali Bombings.

Tired of singing alone, at home, in their respective showers, old BCC members have rejoined the choir, and many talented newcomers have also joined the singers.

The 2022 Annual Bali Community Concert will take place on Tuesday, 26 November 2022, at 7::00 pm in the Auditorium of SMK Negeri 3 on Jalan Tirta Nadi 2 in Sanur.

The Bali Community Choir is led by Brendan O’Donnell, an Australian who has retired in Bali and is a former director with the internationally renowned nationwide vocal group Sing Australia.

Tickets are available at the door, with ample seating assured for all where admission for adults Rp. 50,000 nett/ person. Children are admitted without charge.
