Bali’s first International flight in nearly two years has landed!
09 February 2022
A Garuda Indonesia flight from Tokyo landed in Bali on Thursday, marking the first international flight to the holiday island in nearly two years.
The Garuda Indonesia Airbus A330 touched down at Bali's Denpasar Airport (DPS) after flying in from Tokyo Narita (NRT). It’s not much but at least it’s a start for what we hope is more to come!
We are so very excited to see that Bali is finally opening to its borders (slowly but it’s at least a start) to travelers from all countries. However, as we write this it is still mandatory to quarantine for a period of up to five days in designated hotels. Some airlines are now tentatively preparing to operate some international flights into Denpasar Airport.
