BALI DYNASTY RESORT ACHIEVES EMERALD AWARDED BY TRI HITA KARANA 2013

South Kuta Beach – Tri Hita Karana is a unique concept that ultimately defines the ‘Island of the Gods’ and Bali Dynasty Resort is extremely proud of this recognition. For hundreds of years, the concept has been used as a foundation to maintain Bali island including Balinese culture heritage and the surrounding environment.

After being reviewed for a whole year by the Tri Hita Karana team, Bali Dynasty Resort has proudly received the “Emerald” award for the second time during the  Tri Hita Karana Tourism Award Ceremony on December 10^th, 2013 at the Ksirarnawa Bali Art Centre.

Tri Hita Karana (THK) denotes an indigenous life concept of the Balinese community to attain secular and spiritual bliss through a harmonious relationship between humans and God (parhyangan), humans and fellow humans (pawongan) as well as humans and the environment (palemahan) into integral oneness. This presentation of awards has been held annually since 2000 to acknowledge the efforts of local hotels, resorts and villas that choose to adhere to the spiritual and social principles of this unique Balinese Hindu concept. The Emerald Trophy is awarded to hotels who have received the Gold Medal for 3 consecutive times. With total support and dedication from all staff members, Bali Dynasty Resort is proud to continue the sustainable environment program, especially with the implementation of the Tri Hita Karana values in the daily operational activities to preserve the local culture heritage and environment.

The Bali Dynasty Resort is committed to continue to operate at a high environmental standard by using the earth check software and Green Globe Lite benchmarking to review and measure results. The Bali Dynasty Resort successfully Benchmarked against key environmental indicators using the Earthcheck^TM tool including energy and water consumption, total waste production and community commitment.
