Each quiz night supports the Bali Dynasty Resort’s “Helping Friends for Life” program, which contributes to local charities such as the Bali Children’s Project and others making a difference across Bali.

Funds raised go directly to the School Sponsorship Program, helping cover school fees, uniforms, and books for underprivileged students. Thanks to your support, seven sponsored students graduated in 2025 — a proud achievement for the community.

Sangjit Celebration at Golden Lotus Restaurant

Celebrate the cherished Chinese tradition of Sangjit at Golden Lotus Restaurant, where culture and cuisine come together in harmony. Galungan and Kuningan Day

Experience one of Bali’s most vibrant cultural celebrations with Galungan and Kuningan Day, a time when the island comes alive with devotion, colour, and tradition. Galungan, which falls on 19 November 2025, marks the triumph of dharma (good) over adharma (evil) and the return of ancestral spirits to visit their families. Balinese homes and temples are beautifully decorated, and tall penjor graceful bamboo poles adorned with coconut leaves, fruits, and flowers line the streets, symbolising gratitude and prosperity. Families gather to make offerings, pray, and share festive dishes such as lawar and jaje uli, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere across the island.

Ten days later, Kuningan Day on 29 November 2025 signifies the spirits’ return to the heavens. Offerings of yellow rice (nasi kuning), fruits, and flowers are prepared to express gratitude for blessings received. The day is filled with prayer, music, and Balinese dance, reflecting Bali’s deep spiritual harmony between humans, nature, and the divine, a truly special time to witness the island’s living culture.

Support Ayu Shri’s Dream Through the Bali Children’s Project

At Bali Dynasty Resort, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting Bali’s younger generation to build a brighter future. This season, we’re proud to partner with Bali Children’s Project to help a dedicated student, Ayu Shri continue her education.

Seventeen-year-old Ayu Shri from Denpasar dreams of graduating high school and working in a bank, just like her grandfather. Despite facing many challenges being raised by her elderly grandparents and working after school to support her family she continues to excel academically and pursue her passions in singing, fashion, and theatre.

With only nine months left until graduation, Ayu Shri needs sponsorship to complete her studies. Every contribution helps cover her school fees and daily essentials until she graduates in June 2026. By joining this initiative, you’re not only helping Ayu Shri reach her goal but also empowering her to inspire others in her community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported our charity initiative with the Bali Children’s Project. Your kindness is helping students like Kadek Dimas, a seventeen-year-old hospitality student from Jembrana, continue his education and move closer to his dreams.

After losing his father to COVID-19, Dimas’ family has faced financial hardship, with his mother working tirelessly to make ends meet. Despite these challenges, Dimas remains determined balancing school with part-time work, excelling in his studies, and sharing his talent in traditional Balinese percussion. Thanks to your support, he now has the opportunity to complete his internship in Denpasar, a crucial step toward graduation in June 2026.

It’s always an amazing stay at Bali Dynasty! This is our 3rd time staying and won’t be the last. The staff are always so friendly and the resort has so much to offer for all the family. Interconnecting rooms this time gave us the flexibility of 2 bathrooms having 3 kids in tow. The pool activities they do really makes a great atmosphere. Poolside drinks, snacks and foot massages with the wave of a little red flag is amazing. Kids love the water slides and fish feeding. The breakfast is amazing with a huge selection, it’s hard not to overeat but you rarely will need lunch. If you’re looking for a family resort, they cater for kids of all ages, you can’t go past Dynasty – Heath

This hotel is fantastic and is kid friendly too, and only 15 minutes from the airport. There’s always traffic, but that’s just Bali - Aria Randhawa

For a Bali family holiday, this place is excellent! Yes, it’s Bali — so don’t expect the Four Seasons — but do expect 5-star, family-catered luxury perfectly suited to Aussie families. The staff are FANTASTIC — genuinely kind, polite, and always ready to help with anything to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and safe. They’re especially amazing with children — even in full “meltdown muffin mode,” they step in with patience and smiles. We travelled as four families — all my sisters and their kids — a total of seven children ranging from 9 months to 12 years old. Every single one of them had a fantastic time! The kids club is a total lifesaver — it runs a full day of fun, including supervised swimming, pizza-making classes, lunch outings at some of the hotel restaurants, movie nights twice a week (so parents can sneak in a quiet dinner!), crab catching, dancing, Indonesian music classes, water games, and more. For parents, having quality time away from the kids while knowing they’re having the best time is what I class as true luxury. The rooms are well set up for families — with Google TVs in each room (complete with a PS3 /4- again this is Bali), USB ports for charging (bring your own USB-C connectors), and one international power point. Everything you need for an easy, comfortable stay.
Everything is so well catered to keep the kids entertained while parents can finally unwind — get a massage, sip a cocktail by the pool, or even head out for some child-free shopping and just breathe. Perfect for families — we’ll definitely be back! - Rebecca K

Bali Dynasty Resort is one of the go-to places if you're staying somewhere in Kuta. It can include excellent rooms, friendly staff and is very family friendly. THE KIDS: It is a great spot for the kids! Including two pools, (one being a kiddy one) a mini water park with two slides, a bigger slide for the teens, Kids club, and even includes Kids suites. SERVICE AND STAFF MEMBERS: pointing out the staff Arya is an absolute legend! so if you have kids staying there, he is the perfect match and is found in Café Piazza from noon, he can also cheer up adults possibly having a rough day! That was just a pointer, all the staff at the Dynasty are equally as great. LOCATION: the location of this hotel is perfect, it's on the beach front, is right next to Discovery Mall, a five-minute walk to Waterbom water park the (the best in Asia as of now), and is very close to local markets. ADULTS: Now for the adults there is a pool bar in the main pool, there are "no kids zones", within the "no kids zones" there's a relaxing beach like area accompanied by a relaxing swimming pool, a sports bar, and a gym. So, all the reasons on how Bali Dynasty Resort is one of the best in Kuta, if not the best! - Toby Haygreen
