10 years of Gracie Kelly’s!

Gracie Kelly’s, Bali’s 1^st Original Irish Pub, celebrates its 10 year anniversary, 10 years of awesomeness, uniqueness, originality and “craic” (Irish for Fun!)

On Friday, 15 June 2012 friends and long time supporters of the famous Gracie Kelly’s were invited to join a special event commemorating the 10 year anniversary of the pub. Ten years earlier, Gracie Kelly’s marketed itself as the “first original Irish Pub” in Bali; ten years later Gracie Kelly’s remains the only “original” Irish pub in Bali. The popularity of Irish pubs around the world continues as it is virtually impossible to not find such a unique representation of Irish culture on any continent.

The popularity of the Irish pub concept is due to it’s relaxed dining environment and traditional Irish entertainment. The unique concept and interior adopts the theme of a traditional Irish country cottage pub combined with the traditional Irish Shop pub theme, which recreates the ambience of an old-style general store that can be found in every small Irish town.

Gracie Kelly’s prides itself on serving wholesome home cooked food, specialities include beef and stout pie, bangers and mash and you cannot leave without testing Gracies Homemade Hot sticky Toffee Pudding!  

Gracie Kelly’s now have their very own live Leprechauns. Both named Ketut, the story of the Leprechaun is from an old Irish fairy tale and they are renowned for causing mischief. They busied themselves making shoes all day and according to the fairy tails were known to store all their money in a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! If ever caught by a human the Leprechaun has the magic power to grant three wishes before their release. Perhaps when you meet them you won’t find their pot of gold, nor may your wishes come true but you will certainly have some fun and laughs and your visit to Gracie Kellys will be a memorable one.

Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub, located at the Bali Dynasty Resort, is becoming an increasingly popular venue with live music seven nights a week and big screen sporting events as well as pool tables, darts and karaoke.

Watch your favourite sports live on the big screen in air conditioned comfort or test your general knowledge skills and win great prizes twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday when it is Quiz Time to raise money for our Charity Effort.
