A Blood Donation at Bali Dynasty Resort

Bali Dynasty Resort organised a Blood Donation Event on Friday, 24th of February 2017 in the Kertagosa Function Room which was attended by the staff as part of a regular initiative with the Indonesia Red Cross. Through this programme, Bali Dynasty Resort also wants to endorse the importance of donating blood to maintain a sufficient blood supply to save the lives of others.

There were 36 staff participating in this blood donation. At the end of the event, a total of 26 bags of blood were collected and delivered to Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). All blood will be stored in regional blood bank in Sanglah Hospital to be distributed to the needy.

In addition to the blood donation, there was also a free mini-medical check up for blood sugar level, uric acid and cholesterol.

This Blood Donation is one of the Resort's tangible contributions to the society and has become one of its annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) events. The Resort is also committed to help the disadvantaged people in Bali through “Help Friends for Life” Programme in partnership with Solemen Indonesia. To date, Bali Dynasty Resort has successfully helped individuals to overcome their difficulties by adopting several people who are in need for long term medical support, providing scholarships and donating much needed items such as prosthetic legs, wheelchairs, mattresses, medicines and more.
